Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 245

Well, in that case, Scott should not blame him if his wife ran off with another man, then!

Dylan tossed his phone aside. However, he could not let this weigh on his conscience, so he decided to message Scott to let him know about the situation.

He wanted to torment Scott!

Before he could send out the message, however, another text message popped up on his screen. He smiled when he saw what it was.

It was a phone number. NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

Although Jay was the one who had sent this instead of Scott, Dylan was still satisfied. Scott had still folded after all!

Jay glanced at Scott through the rearview mirror once he did as he instructed.

Scott was gazing out the window but still clutching his phone in his hand. His expression was as cold as always but a little different than usual. There was finally a hint of emotion on his face. He had finally found someone he cared about.

"I've sent the driver's number as you asked, Mr. Lawson."

"Thanks."

Jay returned to his work.

Scott continued staring out the window, tapping his finger against his lap rhythmically.

Meanwhile, Naomi checked her phone as soon as Dylan got out. When she saw Charles' message, she quickly replied to tell him she was on her way.

Charles, on the other hand, was staring out the window, clutching his phone in his hand as the taxi zipped amongst the traffic. He had been to Herland sometime before. Now that he was visiting this city again, he realized just how much had changed. It was no longer the Herland that he remembered.

All of a sudden, his phone buzzed. He checked his phone to find it was Naomi.

He could not help smiling as he clicked into her message.

[Naomi: It's okay, Charles. It's lunchtime anyway, so I'm not working.]

[Charles: That's good.]

[Naomi: Charles, I'm already on my way. I'll be there in half an hour. I'll wait for you at the entrance once I arrive. Text me when you're there.]

[Charles: Okay.]

Naomi's car sped toward her destination and finally arrived at 11:40 p.m.

The driver pulled into a parking space and turned off the engine. Since he had brought Naomi here, naturally, he assumed he would have to bring Naomi back to the project site later on.

The moment he turned off the engine, however, his phone rang. It was a number he did not recognize, but it was a local one.

He answered the call.

"Hello. It's me, Dylan Quinn."

"Hello, Mr. Quinn."

"Have you arrived at the hotel?"

The driver glanced out the window, where he could see Naomi waiting at the entrance. "We just arrived."

"Is Naomi out of the car?"

"Yes."

"Good. Where are you now? Are you parked outside the hotel?"

"Yes. Just across the road, sir."

"Good. Just keep your eye on Naomi and remember to see who comes to meet her later. It would be great if you could get some photos of them later."

The driver froze. "What is the meaning of this, Mr. Quinn?"

"Don't worry. I'm not trying to invade her privacy or spy on her. Mr. Lawson was the one who instructed this. Just do as I say. You'll be fine."

Well, since Scott was the one who ordered this, it would be an issue. The driver obliged. As soon as he hung up, he kept his eyes fixated on Naomi with his phone at hand, ready to spring into action the moment Naomi's friend showed up.

Meanwhile, Naomi was entirely oblivious to the fact that she was being spied on. Instead, she texted Charles to let him know she had arrived.

Charles' reply came quickly, letting her know he was about ten minutes away. He wanted her to wait in the lobby, but she refused. Instead, she stood outside, watching the cars go by as she waited for Charles to appear.

Finally, a taxi pulled up in front of the hotel around noon.
