A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 607

Chapter 607

Chapter 607 Tim smiled gently and said, “Yes, duly requested by our one and only Sage.” Sage rubbed her knees and giggled, “That’s right. I’ll bring it over tomorrow.”

“Don’t bother. Keep it for yourself.” Sage was surprised. “Why? Aren’t you always curious about that antique vase of Kane’s?” Tim replied, “I happened to collect a few better ones.” Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

He really was the eldest in the family. Sage said, “Fine. Then, I’ll keep this.” Tim then reminded Sage to rest early, but she decided to be a little more playful. “I don’t think I can. I have the journal to work on, otherwise” “Just work on it on the plane tomorrow,” Tim interjected before she could finish her sentence.

Well, the negotiation was unsuccessful. Sage pouted and replied, “Okay.” Before hanging up, she thought about something else. “By the way, Tim, regarding Jekyll…” Tim interjected in a very low and soft voice, “You don’t have to worry about that. I’ll arrange for something. He cannot die for now. We need him to lure Shawn.”

He continued sternly, “You can pretty much assume what he says is bullsh*t, understood?”

Sage was surprised that Tim was not only more talkative, but he even used words like ‘bullsh*t ‘. It was so rare.

She was stunned for a second or two before saying, “Yes.”

After hanging up, Sage sat cross-legged on her bed and reflected upon what Tim said. She figured Tim must have been pissed off. Jekyll must have somehow messed up.

She also looked forward to touching down in Tovres since there would be plenty of foreign fruits for her to enjoy.

It was late. The brothers stayed over at Rosa Garden, and the guest rooms were full. It felt so much like when the parents were still around.

Sage slept quietly like a baby. The next morning, she woke up and had a hearty breakfast. Sage looked at Nigel and Sean, who sat across from her.

Her brother Nigel was even pickier than her when it came to food. He did not like milk and only ate egg whites. He dumped all the egg yolk onto Sean’s plate.

Sean finished the yolk without hesitation. His plate was filled with everything Nigel did not want, and he could be full just by eating them.

Sage thought she had witnessed an exact depiction of a spoiled and presumptuous person. Nigel asked Sage, “What time is your flight?”

“Three in the afternoon.”

“Have you packed?”

Sage took a sip of her soup and replied, “There’s nothing much to pack. Tim has everything. I have my own room in Meadow Castle, so I can move in anytime I want.”

Her tone was very arrogant and cocky. Her fellow brothers could not help but roll their eyes. Sage did not have much to bring indeed. She only brought a purple backpack and wore a white t -shirt, denim skirt, and a white hat. She looked like a college student. Hunter, Leah, and the brothers sent her off at the airport. Since she was not flying for work reasons, she did not bring her personal assistant along, but only two bodyguards for her safety.

Sage held her boarding pass and passport in one hand and said to the rest, “I’m heading off now. I’ll bring some good food back”

She waved her hand and went in for security checks. A tall figure stood in the shadows in one corner of the airport. After Sage went in, the shadow disappeared. ‘She’s headed to Yathein. I’m not sure when I can see her again. I guess this won’t be for long.’
