A Relentless Pursuit for Love

Chapter 606

Chapter 606

Chapter 606 Luther and the rest casually chatted in their group chat named ‘Without Sage’. They told Tim about their recent updates. Sage suddenly shouted so loud that Luther almost dropped his phone. The entire Rosa Garden even shook upon impact. Nigel jumped and stopped by the door. The door was opened within the next second, and he was pulled inside by a big hand!

Zamora was in the living room downstairs. She had to rub his chest for a while before finally catching his breath again. “Jeez. I thought Madam resurrected.”

The girls giggled. They thought that voice was remarkable too. It reminded them of when Sawyer Norah hung out with a few other men without his wife knowing Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Sage was so mad and condemned their boycotting. Tim snorted softly on the other end of the line.

“How dare you laugh at me?!”

Sage got angrier and blamed Tim for not being a good example to the rest.

Tim asked, “What? Am I wrong to say that?” It was rare for Sage to be so domineering in front of her big brother. She did not even bother to be reasonable anymore. “You guys are bullying me.” Tim chuckled and said calmly, “Alright, we’ll stop it. I will ask Luther to dismiss the group.” Tim spoke slowly and gently, so slow that he was only slightly faster than a sloth. It took some patience just to listen to him. His English was much more fluent than before. He sounded almost native, perhaps even better than locals who were born and raised there.

Sometimes, Sage wanted to speak to him in Yathenese, but he always insisted on speaking his very broken English. He thought that English was the most beautiful language in the world. The vocabulary, the spelling, the grammar, forming words and phrases… Everything was just amazing. “Well, good for

you.” Sage was finally satisfied. She hopped onto the bed and rubbed her knees. Tim said gently again, “How’s the injury on your forehead?” He paused and added, “Can you still take the plane?” “Shouldn’t be a problem.” Sage was kind to herself. She applied a generous layer of cream and started massaging. Sage asked, “Tim, who did you arrange for my pick-up tomorrow?”

Tim’s reply was relatively brief. “A friend.” Sage was surprised, “Friend? You have a friend?” “What do you even mean?”

Sage grinned. “Nothing. I was just curious. I wonder what kind of person wants to be your friend.”

“You’ll know.”

Tim did not want to disclose much. He reminded her, “Pack light. We have everything here.” Tim paused and added, “Just let me know if you need anything. I’ll get it arranged.” Sage replied humbly, “Yes, sir. Well, I always go to your place empty-handed but return with heaps of stuff.”

She was totally not humble about that. Most importantly, Tim did not think it was a problem at all.

“That’s right.”

Tim seemed to be keen to chat. He asked, “I heard you swindled Kane out of an antique vase?” “Wow, you even caught wind of that. You’re quite quick to catch on, aren’t you?” Sage was quite impressed with Tim’s ability to get the information, they were miles away, but Tim had no problem keeping up with her updates. She had zero secrets hidden from him. “What do you mean by ‘swindled’? I requested it.”
