Chapter 912 Kill in A Second
Chapter 912 Kill in A Second
Maximilian didn't want to go against him. It wasn't because he was afraid of Clark; it's because he
wanted to get out of here as soon as he could. However, Clark kept pushing him to his limits.
"What? Are you mad? I dare you to fight with me," Clark laughed defiantly. He had practiced fighting
skills with lots of masters, and now he had grown more powerful than his teachers.
That was why he was so confident, only that he had no idea Maximilian was many times more powerful
than him.
Maximilian looked at Clark as if he was staring at an idiot. He had been living for so long and this was
the first time somebody dared to initiate a challenge towards him.
That was a request that nobody would ignore. Clark needed somebody to teach him a lesson.
Clark and his friends burst into laughter. "Maximilian is an out-and-out coward, he would never dare to
fight with Clark! If he makes that move, he'll be..."
Before they finished speaking, Maximilian suddenly threw a punch towards them. The punch was so
fast, and Clark was standing very close to Maximilian.
Clark's pupils shrank when he saw the big fist coming towards his face. This happened too fast, and he
had no time to react.
He looked at Maximilian in fury, as if he wanted to eat this man alive.
"How dare you punch me?" Clark pointed at Maximilian and said.
Maximilian looked at the idiot and laughed, "What a dumb question! Who else has punched you if it
wasn't me?"
Clark wiped his nose and made his fighting posture, saying, "You've already lost the fight."
Maximilian beckoned to Clark. The already furious young man was immediately provoked and darted
forward like an arrow.
Maximilian didn't dodge. He and Clark punched each other's chest with full strength. The ground under
their feet suddenly started to twist, and then the two disappeared.
Everybody standing near them could feel the shake of the earth. They thought it was an earthquake,
but it ended within seconds.
Clark said proudly, "It's very brave of you to try to fight against me, but my body is way stronger than
you."
"Don't show off." Maximilian saw the man through immediately.
Clark's face turned red. He fell to the ground and rolled over in pain, which looked totally different from
what he was trying to be like just now.
Other people smiled disdainfully at him when they saw this. The man had been a poser for a very long
time, which they knew that it wouldn't last long.
On the contrary, Maximilian looked just fine. Clark's pain was killing him. Now all the on-lookers finally
could tell which one of the two is more powerful.
Clark was furious and shocked. He had never expected Maximilian could reach such a high peak in
practicing international strength. He couldn't help but lower down his proud head when he knew
Maximilian's real power now.
The strength between him and the opponent is simply worlds apart, completely incomparable.
Everyone sighed after seeing this scene, they didn't expect that Clark would lose so terribly.
Maximilian looked at the Hardy Ganoderma in his hand. It was still fresh, and at the same, he asked
Damen how to process this raw material.
When he returned home, he cut the Hardy Ganoderma into chunks so that nobody else would notice it.
Then he took some and sent it to the Griffith family.
Samuel was in pain today. The pain was almost insufferable. Fortunately, Victoria was at home taking
care of him. She was his only sweetness in the bitter days.
Just by then, Andrew and Darian came in. Samuel's eyes darkened as soon as he saw the two. He
shouted, "Who let you come in? You're no longer members of this family."
"Dad... please don't say that. It's in our blood! We found a way to cure your disease, but we'll need the
Hardy Ganoderma," Andrew said and smiled embarrassedly.
While Samuel thought that things would never be that easy. He knew the two men, and they were
probably here to hurt him.
"Don't play tricks with me here. I know what you're up to," Samuel said coldly.
Andrew and Darian looked so innocent and said, "Dad, we know that we're wrong, but we're thinking
about how to correct our mistakes."
Samuel couldn't tell if they were telling the truth, but he chose not to believe in them. His face remained
severe.
Seeing that their scheme was working, Andrew added, "The Hardy Ganoderma is being auctioned, but
we don't have that much money."
"You're here for money? I don't have any more for you," Samuel sneered. The two had been beating
around the bush, and it turned out they were again back for money. He decided to refuse them.
Andrew sighed, "Dad, we need the money to help you treat your disease."
"I have no money," Samuel snorted. He was telling the truth. The two prodigal sons had wasted all his
money.
Andrew pondered for a few seconds, and then he laughed out, "Our family holds lots of shares in the
Griffith companies, we can earn a fortune if we sell them."
Samuel was immediately angry. He said, "I'll never allow that, and plus, I don't have the final say on
whether to sell the shares or not. You have to ask Victoria."
"Victoria, grandpa is really sick now. You should really care more about him and spare some money to
help him." It was until then that Andrew had noticed that Victoria was in the ward, too. He sounded so
mean.
Victoria hated his negative attitude so much right now. She replied, "Spare some money? You didn't
just say that did you? That would cost millions! But I'll pay for it anyway if that could save grandpa."
Andrew and Darian looked so excited and agreed, "Yes, Victoria, but you don't have to go to the
auction by yourself. It's just a small thing and we can do it for you, only that I'll have to sign my name Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
on it, not yours."
Victoria knew that her two uncles were still up to no good as soon as Andrew started speaking. Her
grandpa was so sick while the two men were still coveting the equity of their family.
"Save it, you two. The auction has been over, and I know you're here for the equity of this family." It
was Maximilian's voice, which was like thunderstrike to Andrew and Darian.
The two men looked a bit guity, and they stammered as if their tone. had been tied, "Nonsense! Just
shut up, you!"
"The auction is over?" Samuel was shaking because that meant his two sons lied to him again!
