CEO’s Surrender: With You, I Can Never Win

Chapter 236

Chapter 236

Finley was speechless. Did I have the freedom to knock on the door?

It was really tiring to live.

Finley didn’t spend her time in repentance. She walked to the garden, sat on a chair, and played with. her phone calmly.

My apology was sincere. I could do nothing if he didn’t forgive me.

This was the second floor.

Bryan stood before a French window with a goblet in his hand and coldly stared at the girl enjoying her games in the garden.

Kate knocked on the door and then walked into the room.

“Mr. Turner, it will rain soon. May I invite Mrs. Turner in?” Kate asked with goodwill.

“Doesn’t she like that place? She will cool down after the rain. Get lost.”

Bryan put the goblet on the table, got up, and went to the study.

There came several thunders.

Meanwhile, there came the lightning..

Finley immediately put away her phone and looked up at the sky.

It was blowing a gale. It would rain soon.

Finley ran back to the door of the parlor with her arms crossed. She sent a message to Bryan. “It’s going to rain heavily. Let me in. I promise that I won’t scold you anymore. If I break my promise, I will become a dog.”

Dingdong!

There came a message.

Bryan picked up his phone to check.

A smile crept up on his face.

This girl could amuse me every time.

She loved to swear with a dog. If possible, she must be a dog now since she had broken her promises several times.

Bryan sighed deeply.

Holding the phone, he got up from the chair, came out of the study, and went downstairs.

Finley leaned against the door and waited for the message from Bryan.

No response! He was still that stoned-hearted man.

Because of those complaints, he was mad at me for such a long time.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Finley’s cell phone suddenly rang.

It was a call from Andy.

Finley didn’t want to answer the call at all.

However, the phone kept ringing.

Finley picked up the phone and said, “Hey, Andy, I don’t think I have anything to say to you.”

“Finley, let’s forget the dispute at the gathering for the time being. Something bad happened at the campus.”

Andy sounded anxious and restless.

“What’s the matter?” Finley became serious and pursed her lips tightly.

“Delia is dead. She jumped down from the window of your dormitory.”

“What did you say?”

This news appalled Finley.

Delia was thick-skinned. How could she commit suicide because of those angry words?

“She left a letter in the dormitory, and its content was adverse to you. The policemen are here. There is a recording playing in your dormitory, and Delia called you the murderer in it. She said she would seek revenge even if she was dead. You had better stay at home for the coming days, and I will take care of this mess for you…”

Before Andy finished his explanation, Finley hung up the phone and hurried down the stairs with her lips bitten.

“Mrs. Turner, where are you going? It’s going to rain.”

The two bodyguards shouted at Finley in a hurry.

Finley ignored the shout. She went to the garage and drove the white Maserati out of the mansion.

The heavy rain poured down.

The car rolled over the ground and caused an ear-piercing sound. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Like a beast, the white car dashed toward Capital University in the heavy rain.

Bryan went downstairs and opened the door. However, there was no sight of Finley.

“Where is she?” Bryan asked the bodyguard at the door.

The bodyguard nodded respectfully and said, “Mr. Turner, we don’t know. Mrs. Turner received a call from someone called Andy. She instantly drove away after hanging up the phone.”

This answer angered Bryan, and he looked gloomy.
