Caught Between The twin CEO

“Let go of me Jaxton” Sydney said as she was trying to walk pass Jaxton and he held her hand.

“And why would I do that right now?” he asked his eyes bloodshot.

“Jaxton let her go, you are assaulting her and she has the right o go wherever she wants she is not a child” Paxton decided to jump into the situation because he could see Sydney trying her best not to cry.

“You should stay out of this” he said pointing his finger at Paxton.

“I won’t she is my responsibility, I brought her here so I should take her back with me” Paxton countered making his brother even more angry than he was at seeing them at the restaurant together.

“I said what I said man, you are creating a scene here and that is not right, why on earth should you do this, you are creating content for the tabloids man let her go” Paxton reasoned.

Not heeding to what his brother was saying he pulled Sydney who was now full of tears back into his car.

“Jaxton, let me go, I don’t want to go with you” but all of that fell on deaf ears as he just shoved her into the car leaving Paxton there amused at how violent his twin could be.

Jaxton drove the car back to the company in a ferocious manner and due to her exhaustion she never for once showed how scared she was although she wished secretly she had driven bac to the office with Paxton and not his brother.

The silence in the car was an uncomfortable one and Sydney’s face was red as she had been crying from the embarrassment Jaxton just put her through at the restaurant.

“What on earth where you doing at a restaurant with my brother?” he spat at her as she shivered from fear but she had to say her mind otherwise.

“I went to that restaurant with your brother harmlessly, we both went there as employer and employee, why the hell do you have to make everything build around your obsession and possession over me Jaxton? She yelled.

“What I saw back there was not an employee and employer date you both were flirting” he justified.

“What utter nonsense are you saying Jaxton, I am a grown ass woman and I work my own money so I bet I should be able to have say in whatever it is that I do with myself , I don’t always have to be around you” she retorted angrily.

“You would not talk to me in that manner” Jaxton yelled and Sydney saw that shouting was not helping matters at the moment so she tried her best to calm down.

“Look baby, what you saw out there was harmless, we were not flirting, and geez I could never do that to you please believe me would you?” She said going close to Jaxton and holding his both cheeks in her hands making him ti look at her inside of her eyes.

“How do I believe what you just said to me?” Jaxton asked pulling away from her hold because he knew why she was holding him in that manner she wanted to cajole him into believing her and his brother and in his mind he knew she just might be lying.

“Please trust me Jax, don’t make our beautiful relationship crumble because of the lack of trust you have in me, you are to me the greatest love of all and I have never given you the reason to not trust me” Sydney said and it took a lot of convincing to get Jaxton believe her.

“Okay, but just promise me you would be careful around Paxton and your relationship should be strictly business and professional okay?” he said and this only made her promise things she wasn’t sure of but she had to for the sake of her sanity and that of Jaxton.

“Okay, break is over and trust me I have heard ever singe word you have told me and I promise it would be strictly business please don’t doubt me, I love you and you alone” Sydney explained.

“I trust you and I am sorry for hurting you earlier I was just enraged and pissed I didn’t know how to react to the situation at that point in time” Jaxton apologized and she nodded her head as he held her close and she could feel his beating heart.

“We still have to continue working on the contract please stop getting jealous okay?” she said and he brought his lips to hers and gave her a quick kiss as he walked her to the door.

The terrified employees just minded their business because nobody was ready to have their jobs taken from them they had bills to pay.

Seated back at his office Jaxton couldn’t help but feel jealous that Sydney had to work on the contract with Paxton, he still was uneasy given the fact that his brother was seen looking at Sydney’s pictures smiling and now she was having lunch with hi instead of having lunch with him.

He had to make sure he made her know he was her only love and she was not allowed to nurse his brother in her mind she had to make sure she made him trust her more, she was his life and he wouldn’t love to lose his life.

“Yes can you make reservations for the weekend because I have someone important I wish to bring for a date at your restaurant and I want everything to be exquisite” Jaxton said to the person on the other end of the phone.

He felt spending more time with his woman off work was going to strengthen their relationship and also he believed if he ended the week with Sydney it would give her the room to think of him all week and have her anticipate what would come up next.
