Chapter 242
Chapter 242
Patricia showed Rose her profile name. She was delighted, as Rose could be her future customer as well.
Once she added Patricia, Rose gave her the nickname of 'Isaac's side chick'. I can try getting to Isaac through her. If I can befriend this woman, I can see Isaac.
Elizabeth and Lavender eventually finished chatting, and Elizabeth said, "Time to go, Patricia."
Patricia bade the Ortegas goodbye and got in Elizabeth's car, and then they left the place.
Elizabeth held her hand. "Sorry for that, Tricia. I did want to help you, but more than that, I wanted you to get used to something like this." Elizabeth disliked these tea parties, but she had a duty to do that, for she was a part of the Arnolds.
Patricia smiled. "It's alright, Elizabeth." She was happy enough to humiliate Gwen and see everyone isolate her.
Elizabeth nodded. "Good to hear." She's such a caring and understanding girl. Elizabeth was liking her more and more.
The tea party took a lot out of Elizabeth, given her age. She needed to rest, but before that, they took Patricia to the company and only left after she got out of the car.
Patricia came back to an empty office. Isaac wasn't around. She put her bag down and got herself a glass of water from the pantry. After downing it, she went to a quiet corner and called Darcie. There was no time to call her that morning as she had to leave in a hurry, and then the tea party happened.
The call went through easily. "Hello?"
She sounds sleepy. "Did I wake you, Darcie?"
Oh, it's Tricia! Darcie woke up right away. She stared around at the unfamiliar room. Well, I've slept here for a dozen times, so technically not that unfamiliar.
"I had a bit too much to drink last night, so I overslept."
Nope. Percy took me home and did me until dawn. Percy's stamina was outstanding, but she couldn't keep up. In the end, she was so exhausted, she couldn't even get out of bed.
Percy's men were keeping an eye on Poppy in the hospital, so she kicked back and relaxed. If it weren't for the call, she would have kept on sleeping.
Patricia was relieved to hear that. "I'm just worried about you. He didn't do anything bad to you, did he?"
Darcie got up and changed into her pajamas. My throat is dry. She was about to get some water, but when she came to the dining room, she saw a slip on the table.
'I have a mission to do. Gotta go. I'll leave this house for you.' The deed was placed under the slip, and there was a black card there as well.
Darcie blanched. "He ran away?" she muttered to herself.
Patricia was about to tell Darcie that she could tell her anything, but then she heard that muttering. "What? Who ran away?"
Darcie smacked the deed, her eyes filled with disappointment. "Percy. He ran away."
He promised he'd give his bone marrow to Poppy this Friday, but he went back on his word? I stayed with him for a month. Let him have sex with me every time he wants to. All I want is for Poppy to live. I don't care what happens to me. How could he do this to me? That b*stard!
Patricia was still confused. "Are you still waiting for Percy to help Poppy out? No new bone marrows?"
Darcie wasn't in the mood to talk about this. "I have to go, Tricia," she said raspily. "I need to find him. Talk to you later." NôvelDrama.Org holds © this.
Darcie then hung up, and Patricia looked at her phone for a few moments. Oh, I get it now. She went back to the office, and Isaac was already there. He probably just came back. "President Arnold, do you know where Percy is right now?"
