Chapter 99 – Summer’s Inferno – Part 9

MICHAEL

Charlotte’s lips stretch into a wider smile then peel back, displaying her teeth as I tighten my grip on the

nipple, pinching, hard enough for pain. Then as I pinch harder, eyes closing, she hisses air between

her teeth. Her fragrance blooms and my cock comes to life.

That’s more like it…

And there’s a reason women have two nipples…

Rising from my perch on the bed, I slide the robe from my shoulders, standing over her to display my

burgeoning erection. The smile blooms to a grin as I swing a leg across, straddling her.

That’s my girl…

That grin kicks-starts my blood-pressure, pumping up until a racing pulse sets my head pounding, but

in a good way as my cock bumps into overdrive. Charlotte’s eyes fix on it, framed by her breasts,

twitching and throbbing, ready to go.

Mischief, disguised as emerald mermaid eyes, rises to meet me. Slipping fingers into her mouth, briefly

she sucks and lubricates, then ringing my erection, she slides up to the crown, squeezing ever so

gently over the ridge…

Then up and over pressured flesh and the slit, even now seeping glistening fluid, lubricating further.

Heat rises up my face. The pressure rises in my groin…

Fuck!

Charlotte chuckles, a deep-down sound, low and fruity, vibrating through to the skin and muscle of

thighs. Altering her grip on me, she winds the pads of thumb and finger in slippery circles over sensitive

skin, rubbing and kneading and…

“Stop!” I didn’t mean to sound harsh, but she pauses, eyes wide, lips parting… “Stop,” I repeat, more

gently, peeling her fingers away. “You’ll have me firing off when we’ve barely started.”

Her expression turns impish again and she settles back, curving one arm back over her head. “So,

what would you like?”

Still bestride her, I stoop, brushing my lips over hers then, at her open-mouthed response, inch down

and around, taking her in my arms, rolling us together to lie side by side, face to face. Her fingers creep

into my hair. Mine into hers. My shaft, pushes against her belly, pressured and pulsing, but locked into

our embrace, there’s no urgency to do anything about it.

Charlotte reaches for my mouth with hers, her breath warm over my face, scented of mint. I think she’s

going to kiss me, but instead, she takes my lower lip between her teeth, slowly stretching the flesh.

Such a small movement, but pleasure stabs down, tightening my balls and making my cock throb:

satisfying and utterly delicious.

Tightening my embrace around her shoulders with one arm, I slide a hand down to cup a buttock,

hitching her up and closer. She responds by swinging a leg up and over my thigh, opening herself to

me, manoeuvring until she settles the vee of her thighs around my cockhead.

We meet at mouth and chest and loins, bodies pressed together, heating, growing slick and scented:

the scent of her, of me, the musky scents of arousal and sex.

“You ready, Babe?”

For reply, she opens her mouth to mine, flexes her spine and her hips, contouring herself against me,

widening her thighs. As she moves, her aroma billows, and the need to be inside her flashes sharp and

bright.

Touching to her entrance, I anchor for a moment, taking the time to feel the heat of her, the liquid ripple

of her flesh against mine, the double-time thumping of her heart against my chest, of mine against her

breasts.

As I enter her, piercing her with my body, fingernails bite into my scalp and the moan shimmers from

her throat into mine. Still with one hand clasping her at the rear, I slide into clenching, clutching flesh.

But I don’t thrust. Instead, twisting my hips, I wind into her, aiming for the sweet spot, hearing and

tasting her sigh as I find it, massaging her inside.

Locked at mouth and loins, we’re breathing the same air, almost sharing the same space. It barely feels

like we’re two people.

She’s trying to move with me, but I don’t let her, restraining her movement as I ream her inside. It’s

almost unbearably sweet. Irresistibly intense.

Surrendering to me, Charlotte goes limp in my embrace, letting me do as I wish, leading her up the

path to climax. Her heartbeat is no longer a thump, but a drumming, then a hammering.

With a gasp, she stiffens, arches, then spasms. Spilling the scream into my mouth, she contorts then

convulses. Jerking back my head, I break our kiss, letting her breathe, letting myself see. Watching the

most beautiful sight I know, my Charlotte in the throes of orgasm, I resist my own rush, wanting to draw

out the moment, to extend it, to…

Aahhhh…

And it takes me. Jolting forward, I drop my face into the nook of shoulder and neck, burying myself in a

sea of copper hair as I spurt, deep and long. An ecstatic pulse. And another. And another…

And as I think I’m done, rumbling through my cheekbone, that chuckle again, and Charlotte clenches

around me.

Fuck!

And I spurt once more… All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Stop! Christ, Charlotte… Stop!” And as I jerk my head back, she’s looking me full in the face, eyes full

of joy and laughter.

She lays a palm on my cheek. “Thank you. I needed that.”

“Thank you too, Babe.” I kiss her forehead. “Try to stay calm. We’ll work our way though this.” She

swallows, looking away, but I pinch at her chin, steering her back to me. “Yes, I’d love for us to have

that baby together, but if it didn’t happen, there’s still you and me, and James and Cara. And Richard

and Beth with Adam. And your mom and dad with Vicky.”

“I know…” She blinks, her voice small. “… and it’s wonderful. But this is about you. It’s your turn. It’s…”

“Shush.” I press a finger to her lips. “You matter to me more than anything. Really, Babe. It’ll be fine.”

KLEMPNER

My mobile rings. Lorelei again.

“You have something for me?”

“Got the word about some guy who fits your description and gives her the creeps.”

“Who is she? A colleague? A friend?”

“Friend of a friend. Pole dancer at one of the clubs. Three or four nights a week.”

“A dancer? Does she do more than dance?”

“You’d have to ask her that. Most do.”

“So, I can talk to her?”

“Yup, she said she’d meet up with us before her turn tonight. Ruby’s at nine. That work for you?”

“I’ll be there.”

Strolling through evening air sultry with summer humidity gets me early to the cafe, where I claim a

table in a quiet corner but with a view both outward and toward the entrance.

It’s a quiet hour for business. Too late for workers finishing the day shift snatching an easy meal. Too

early for the revellers tipping out of the bars at the end of an evening. A couple sit quietly chatting.

What could be a traveling salesman, briefcase by his feet, sits tapping at a laptop, working through a

meal and endless coffee refills, occasionally muttering into a headset.

As I’m starting on my second coffee, Lorelei arrives, accompanied by a pixie of a woman, not much

over five feet tall, but with a mass of curly brown hair that makes more of her stature.

“This is Danielle,” says Lorelei. “She has something she wants to tell you.”

“Pleased to meet you.” I gesture across the table. “Please, take a seat. Can I get you anything?”

“Coffee’s fine.” She’s fidgety, picking at her nails.

I raise a hand to the waitress, gesture to the two women, then to my own cup with a Me Too motion.

“So, what do you want to tell me?”

“It's not me,” she says. “But someone I work with. I work at a club. I’m a dancer… One of the other

girls, another dancer… She's got a stalker. I’ve seen him, and I think it might be the man you’re looking

for.”

“What does he look like, this stalker?

“Like Lori told me. Grey hoodie. Jeans. Kinda ordinary looking.”

“And he turns up at your club? Watching your friend? What’s her name?”

She hesitates, biting a lip then, “Lily. Her working name’s Lily.”

“Working name? Not her real name?”

She gives me an old look. “She’s a pole-dancer. What do you think?”

“So, this man in a hoodie, watching Lily… Does he have a name?”

“Calls himself Pat. But it’s not just at the club. There’s a place over the road. A little cafe bar, a lot like

this one. He sits at the window, as if he’s just having a beer or a burger. But he’s watching. I’ve seen

him.”

“He watches Lily? Her specifically?”

“Yes. He’s not interested in the others. After Lily finishes at night, he leaves.”

Night club…

Pole dancer…?

“If this Pat is interested in Lily, why doesn’t he simply buy her a drink or two and take her home after

she finishes? That’s the usual routine, surely? Does she not want to go with him?”

Her face screws up. “Lily’s a dancer, not a hooker. She doesn't take any of the customers home. She

does her turn, two or three times a night, depending on the day of the week, then she goes.”

“My apologies. I meant no offense. But is Lily worried about this man? Has she reported him to

anyone? Especially given the headlines about the Surgeon.”

She looks one way then the other, dropping her voice. “Don’t think so. We…” Her eyes are furtive,

darting this way and that. “We get paid cash. And a lot of what we earn is tips. Lily… I’m scared for her,

but… she didn’t want to say anything. She’s not looking for trouble. You know, with the Revenue.”

“Is that why you’re here and not her? Does Lily know you’re talking to me?”

Dumbly, she swings her head.

I blow air. “Look… Danielle, was it?”

“Danny.”

“Look, Danny, I am not remotely interested in how much you earn or whether you report those

earnings. For that matter, neither are the police. They’re happy to skate by a lot more than a few

undeclared tips if it helps them catch this man. And if he’s taking an interest in Lily, she could have

much bigger problems on her hands than the Revenue. Now, where is it you work?”

“The Sapphire Club.” She stares at me. “Why?” Alarm touches her voice. “What? What's wrong?”

“The Sapphire Club?” Something stirs at the back of my brain, and I palm my neck as though it could

dislodge the thought. “It… sounds familiar…”

Danny looks set for full-scale panic. “What is it? You know something, don’t you?”

I slant her a glance, choosing my words. “The man I’m looking for… The day after the murder in the

park by the square, I followed him from there. But I lost him again. And that was close by the Sapphire.”

Her eyes widen. “When's your friend performing again?”

“Tonight. She's on the eleven pm slot. Then again at one.” Her voice is shaky. “I… I didn’t really believe

it. I mean… You don’t, do you. When Lori was talking about it, it just seemed a good idea I should

come and tell you. But now…” She swallows… “It’s suddenly turning real.”
