Chapter 281 Calling Her Sis
Chapter 281 Calling Her Sis
Inside Nicole’s cabin.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and luxurious. As soon as Nicole opened her eyes, she heard
Kai's hysterically excited cry. "Nicole's awake!!”
Nicole felt like her eardrums were about to shatter, but at the same time, it felt dear to her heart.
The sunlight shone through the window and spilled o n the floor. Drops of water gently tapped the
cabin's window from the waves lapping around the ship. In the distance, soft fluffy clouds dotted the
sunny blue sky.
It was beyond beautiful.
Nicole gently moved her hands, which felt clumsy and heavy because they were wrapped in gauze.
Kai sat by her bedside. His eyes were red.
"Lil N, since your plane crash, I've been trying to find you at sea for so long. I'm finally able to bring you
now ... I promise to buy you whatever you want!"
Nicole hooked her lips. This felt like an unrealistic beautiful dream, but the strong smell of disinfectant
filled her nasal cavity and brought her back to reality.' I’m alive! I survived!’
She saw Kai’s messy hair, and that deadly handsome face now looked disheveled and haggard.
"Then... I gotta think about it..." Nicole chuckled.
Nicole had never gone soft when using her brother's money.
Kai nodded his head incessantly.
Suddenly, someone pushed open the door frantically.
"Nicole..." Eric's voice was careful.
Hearing the familiar voice, Nicole was slightly stunned. She looked to the side and saw that it was
really Eric Ferguson.
She remembered seeing him walk towards her from the helicopter when she was on the island.
Nicole thought that it was a dream, but it turned out to be real!
It was surprising that he would be able to take her away from the rain of bullets.
Nicole saw the deep emotions that welled up in his eyes. She lowered her eyes slightly and gave him a
polite and detached smile.
"Mr. Ferguson, I ought to thank you for this time."
Eric's body fiercely stiffened, as if her words stabbed him at the weakest part of his heart. The color of
his lips paled.
To her, he was just an outsider...
"I... I'm glad that you're okay.”
A bleakness flashed across his eyes. Even so, he still stepped forward and helped to get her cup in a
fluid motion.
"Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere? Are you hungry?"
Nicole’s smile stiffened and froze. "I'm fine. Thanks for your concern."
She then looked at Kai. "K, can you pour me a glass of water please?"
Kai immediately turned around and got her a glass of water.
When he handed it to Nicole, he even glanced at Eric with a smug look.
Nicole was just about to take the glass from Kai when Eric squeezed her wrist.
"Wait a sec."
He turned to the side and took out a straw he had long prepared at the side table, then stuck it in the
glass.
"This way, your wound won’t split open."
Eric smiled gently and handed the water to Nicole." Drink it."
Kai, who was sitting on the side, rolled his eyes in exasperation. 'What’s so great about a bloody
straw?!'
Nicole found it a little weird, but she did not want to make a fuss. After drinking the glass of water, she
felt
so refreshed.
When Nicole was on the island, the water she drank was filtered from seawater. It was not very pure
and had a salty taste to it.
She took a deep breath to savor the sweet mineral water she missed. Before she could hand over the
empty cup to someone, Eric had already taken it away from her hand.
"The doctor’s here..."
There was a flurry of footsteps outside, which indicated there were more people.
"Sis! We heard that you woke up, so we came to see you..."
"Sis, are you feeling better?"
"Sis, you're so brave! No one will believe that you escaped that group of pirates and even dare to shoot
them back! You're the first one!" This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
"Don’t disturb her rest. Let's leave..."
There were a lot of men gathered at the cabin door. Each of them was very tall. Although they were
laughing and fooling around, they still had a tough temperament that was typical in a well-trained
soldier.
If Nicole was not mistaken, these were the soldiers from those helicopters on the island.
'Why are these people calling me “sis" though...?'
