The CEO Is Obsessed With Me

Chapter Thirty-Seven; Cat and Mouse

THIRD PERSON POV

Luke watched Aurelia, his eyes glinting like that of a hungry predator. She stood frozen, her body heating as she battled with the whirlpool of emotions stirring inside her, the most prominent one being the pulsing ache between her legs.

Her sense of reasoning was currently in a tug of war with her desires, and her desires pulled harder.

Aurelia’s chest heaved as she tried to regain her composure, her mind racing with conflicting thoughts. How could she make a rational decision with his trousers hanging loose around his slim waist? how could she focus when her gaze lingered on the huge tent in his crotch?

How was she supposed to say no to such an offer? Goosebumps littered her skin as she tore her gaze away, shifting her attention to his face.

Luke arched a brow at her, his grin widening as he tilted his head.

Aurelia let out a shaky breath, straightening up. “Sir, this is highly inappropriate,” she managed to say, her voice trembling slightly despite her best efforts to sound firm.

She smoothened the non-existent crease on her skirt and cleared her throat, trying to appear unaffected by his sexual appeal. But it was hard to hide her red cheeks.

Luke shook his head as he chuckled softly, clearly enjoying her struggle. He released the condom, letting it fall gracefully in his right palm. “Inappropriate? Maybe. But undeniably exciting, isn’t it?” His tone was laced with challenge, daring her to admit what they both knew.

“Just admit that you were jealous so I relieve you of the building ache down there.” He added cheekily, nodding towards her northern regions. “I know you want me to fuck you Aurelia, it written all over your face.”

Aurelia’s cheeks flushed an even deeper shade of red. She forced herself to meet his gaze, trying to project confidence she didn’t feel. “I am not jealous,” she repeated, though the quiver in her voice betrayed her.

She wouldn’t admit it. Not now, not ever. If she did, it would be the same as accepting defeat- Defeat in this manipulative game brewing between them- a cat-and-mouse game where he was the cat and she was the mouse, the frail mouse in which he always backed into a corner. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

He’d won countless times before, but she wasn’t going to surrender so easily. Aurelia still bore a deep grudge against him, and as stubborn as she was, she wasn’t ready to let go of it yet.

Luke moved closer, just a step forward. He regarded her in silence and admired her stubbornness. He knew she was jealous, he could tell in the mock sweetness in her voice when she greeted Verona.

Jealousy was once a foreign emotion to him as well. He had never had a reason to envy another man, not with his affluence and achievements. Luke had it all, but she’d awakened this foreign emotion in him so easily, so much that he loathed the thought of her in another man’s arms.

It was nice to see that they were on the same boat, but he needed her to admit before he could be fully satisfied, or maybe he just needed a good excuse to get his dick wet during work hours. He’d been holding on for so long, and as he stared into her deep grey eyes, he wanted to make them roll to the back of her head.

Luke knew he could take her right now, bend her over the sink and tear her ass open, but there was something about hearing her admit she wanted him that always made him go mad. It was his guilty pleasure, and he craved it like a teenager high on drugs. Aurelia had yet to realize that he had full control, but he loved watching her little acts of defiance.

A chase wouldn’t be fun if the prey was easy to catch.

Luke maintained a safe distance, but Aurelia still thought it was dangerously close, too close for her brain to function properly.

His sultry gaze caressed her face like a lover’s touch, highlighting her features, especially her lips and eyes. His eyes darkened as he leaned an inch closer, his rich cologne tingling her nostrils.

“Then why is your heart racing?” he whispered, his voice smooth and seductive.

Aurelia’s pulse quickened, and she could feel the heat radiating from his body. “Because you’re invading my personal space,” she shot back, though the edge in her voice was softening.

Luke raised his hand, and she held her breath as his finger traced the stain on her blouse, just above the curve of her breasts. Her teeth sank into her bottom lips as his eyes lowered, his fingers trailing to the fiddle with the buttons of the blouse.

“You’re too stubborn for your own good.” Luke raised his gaze, and a glimmer of excitement shone in his heterochromatic pupils. “But I love it.”

Aurelia held back a moan as he suddenly palmed her left breast, squeezing hard, she gasped as his lips latched on her neck at the same time, her eyes squeezing shut.

“Did your chest tighten when she kissed my neck?” His voice was gruff, his words flying over her head as she pressed her hands on his chest, trying to push him back, but he didn’t budge. Instead, he parts her thighs with his knees, his fingers sinking further into her plush breasts.

“S-stop…” She stammered, hating how unconvincing she sounded.

“Did you hate seeing her so close to me?”

Aurelia squirmed, her brain unable to come up with a coherent response as he continued to knead her like soft dough. She winced as he bit her throat, forcing a moan past her lips.

“Ahh…” she exclaimed, goosebumps littering her skin.

Luke’s lips curved into a satisfied smile at her reaction. He knew he was pushing her boundaries, testing her resolve, and the way her body responded was all the confirmation he needed.

“I can make you feel good darling,” he murmured against her ear, his breath hot on her skin. “Just say the word.” His fingers trailed down her stomach, hovering just above the waistband of her skirt, taunting her with the promise of more.

Aurelia swallowed hard, her throat dry. She reminded herself to resist, to uphold her dignity, but every touch, every word he uttered chipped away at her defenses.

“I wasn’t jealous.” She insisted, her voice barely audible. Aurelia felt Luke smile against her skin as he pressed another tantalizing kiss on her neck.

“Liar,” he said again, this time more gently. “There’s no shame in it. Just be honest with yourself. Stop fighting me, Aurelia. You won’t win.”

“I’m not fighting to win,” she whispered, though her voice lacked conviction. “I just want you to leave me alone.”

Luke chuckled, a deep, throaty sound that sent shivers down her spine. “But you don’t want me to, do you?” He nipped at her earlobe, his hand slipping beneath her skirt, fingers teasing the edge of her panties.

Her resolve crumbled, her body arching into his touch. “Damn you,” she breathed, her hands gripping his shoulders as if to anchor herself. “So what if I was jealous, it doesn’t make a difference.” The words slipped out of her lips before she could stop them, an unintentional thought that she’d said out loud.

Aurelia mentally slapped herself for such a foolish mistake, muttering curses under her breath.

On hearing her confession, Luke pulled back slightly, just enough to look into her eyes. “That’s more like it,” he said, his tone holding a mix of praise and victory.”That’s all I needed to hear,” he murmured, closing the distance between them once more.

“And now, for your reward.”

With that, he lifted her effortlessly onto the countertop, spreading her legs wide as he settled between them. His hands roamed her body, exploring every curve, every dip as if committing her to memory. Aurelia’s head fell back, a soft moan escaping her lips as she surrendered to the sensations.

She didn’t even realize he’d done away with her clothes till she felt a chill caress her skin.

Luke’s mouth followed the path of his hands, leaving a trail of kisses and nips along her skin. When he finally reached the apex of her thighs, he paused, looking up at her with a wicked grin. “Ready?” he asked, his breath hot against her most sensitive flesh.

Aurelia nodded hesitantly, unable to find her voice. The moment his tongue touched her, she knew there was no going back. She was lost to him, and at that moment, she didn’t care.
