Chapter 2100
Ethan quickly waved his hands, "No, no, don't get so worked up."
But Alaric wasn't about to let it go. They used to devour gossip about Lysander because, among them, Lysander was the least interested in the opposite sex, showing no interest in any woman.
Who would have thought that Lysander would be the first among them to find true love?
Now, Alaric's interest had shifted to Ethan, who didn't believe in love and had never been in a relationship. Although he'd had his share of flings, they never meant anything to him.
He was even less interested in women.
It was rare for Ethan to even mention the word 'love.'
A rare chance to gossip about Ethan? Alaric wouldn't miss it for the world.
He had been aimlessly clicking on his computer screen, but now he stood up excitedly, walked over to Ethan with one hand on his hip and the other leaning on the desk. His right foot in front of the left, he faced Ethan with a look of eagerness, "Spill the beans, no beating around the bush."
Alaric had caught the scent of juicy gossip, and there was no way he'd let Ethan off the hook easily.
Ethan knew all too well that look in Alaric's eyes, ablaze with the thirst for gossip. It was terrifying. Before, he had enjoyed Lysander's stories with the same zeal.
Now, he was the subject of interest.
Frightened, Ethan quickly backed away, "Excuse me, I'll leave you to your music."
But before he could make his escape, Alaric quickly stepped in front of him, "Ethan, don't tell me our friendship means nothing to you. What's going on? Spill it, maybe I can offer some advice. Remember when Lysander couldn't win over Thalassa? It was my advice that helped him marry her." That caught Ethan's interest, his eyes lighting up, "Really?"
"Of course, it's true. When have I ever lied to you?" Alaric said earnestly.
Ethan was indeed in a pickle and needed advice. With Alaric volunteering, how could he refuse?
"So, tell me, how can I get Dr. Lydia to notice me?" Ethan asked seriously.
"Dr. Lydia?" Alaric was puzzled.
"Yeah, Dr. Lydia, the one who treated you last time," Ethan explained without thinking.
Realization dawned on Alaric, "Whoa, you're into that tomboy?"
Alaric was genuinely shocked. He never imagined Ethan's type would be someone more formidable than most men.
Ethan's expression fell, annoyed, "Do you even know how to speak properly?"
Realizing he had gone too far, Alaric quickly apologized, "Sorry, my bad, my bad. Lydia's great, actually. She's from Hollowbrook too, and she's even related to Thalassa. If you end up together, you and Lysander would be relatives."

Eager to move on, Alaric added, "Cut the crap, tell me, how can I make her warm up to me?" Ethan urged.
After getting the details about
Ethan's current situation with Lydia and his attempts at pursuing her, Alaric laughed, "You seem so sharp when it comes to business, how come you're so timid when it comes to women?"
Ethan was offended, "How am I being timid?"
"Pretending to be sick just to see her? You're lucky she didn't kick vo
