Chapter 168: Searching for Noah
Charlie just glanced at Luna and walked past her.
Luna immediately caught up and walked nervously behind him.
"You are quite familiar with Vivian, right?"
Upon hearing his question, Luna gave a bitter smile. "Yes, we are indeed close. After all, I personally trained her."
After asking this question, Charlie did not say anything else. When they reached the ground floor, Tom was already waiting there.
"Tom, pull the surveillance footage."
Tom immediately opened his laptop, entered some commands, and said with a gloomy face, "Young Master Firth, that neighborhood is located in the outskirts and is quite old. There is no surveillance camera inside the neighborhood, and there is only one at the entrance..."
"Alright, just pull the surveillance footage."
After saying that, Charlie turned to look at Luna. "Do you know the caregiver who takes care of Noah?"
"Yes, I do."
Luna quickly understood Charlie's meaning and spoke in a low voice, "I can help identify her. Although we don't know for sure if Noah is really dead, we might find some clues from Gina's actions."
That was what Charlie meant. If Noah was really dead, Gina would definitely be severely punished by the Mirren Family for her negligence. If she had really intended to dispose of the body, she must have put a lot of effort into it.
Charlie nodded and sat down on the sofa. Luna stood next to Tom watching the surveillance footage.
After an hour, Luna finally spoke up, "It's her, Gina!"
Charlie immediately stood up from the sofa and walked over to look at the screen.
On the screen, a small truck drove past, and the face of the woman sitting in the passenger seat of the truck was facing the surveillance camera.
Luna raised her voice in excitement. "She was in a truck. Maybe Noah's body was in it!"Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
The back of the truck was covered with thick cloth, and they couldn't see what was inside. But there was an obvious bulge under the cloth, indicating that there was something large underneath. FindNovel
Charlie took a deep breath. He didn't want to believe that Noah had died because if he really did die, Nancy would be devastated, and she would change...
"Tom, find the license plate number of this truck and conduct a city-wide investigation. We must find the truck!"
No matter what, they had to find Noah. Even if they only found his body, it would still bring some comfort to Nancy. Tom replied in a deep voice, "Yes!"
After speaking, he continued to type on the keyboard quickly.
Charlie closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and then turned back to the sofa.
"Luna."
Upon hearing Charlie calling her, Luna immediately turned around and stood respectfully. "Yes, Young Master Firth? Just tell me what you need, and I will do my best as long as can help."
Charlie raised his eyes and looked at Luna with a calm gaze. Even his voice became colder. "I know your intentions. Now, I want you to telf me everything about Vivian, including what she did to Nan."
Luna indeed knew a lot. Although she had already chosen her side earlier, if she were to tell Charlie everything about Vivian, she would be offending the Mirren Family! "Young Master Firth..."
"Don't worry."
Charlie sneered, "I will protect you. The Mirren Family is nothing!"
