Stuck In The Wrong Marriage

Chapter 33

Happy reading….

Hera was about to speak but failed when the maids working at her house came.

“Good morning Madam Hera and Mr Jayden!” said the head maid named Bibi and the others just bowed politely.

“Morning!” answered Hera getting up. “Bibi, please call the driver and the guard to help carry Jayden to his room,” Hera asked Bibi.

“All right, madam!” replied the woman then left.

“Ara, come with me!” said Hera again to Ara. She glanced at Jayden then left from there.

“Yes, Madame Hera!” Ara said following Hera’s footsteps from behind.

“Will Mr. Jayden continue to live in this house again, madam?” asked Ara.

“I don’t know. He comes and goes as he pleases,” replied Hera. “Never mind! Don’t worry about him. Now you help me to move all my things to the guest room,” Hera said to Ara.

“Are you moving to the guest room again? Will Miss Elena come here?”

Hera stopped what she was doing to look at the young woman. Hera smiled faintly at Ara’s expression, which looked panicked and anxious.

“Why did she come here? This house is not her home,” Hera replied and it made Ara breathe a sigh of relief. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.

“Ah, thank goodness. I thought that bad woman would come back here again,” Ara grumbled.

“What did she do to you to make you look so scared of her?” asked Hera curiously.

“I’m not afraid, madam. It’s just that Miss Elena is very spoiled and likes to tell us what she can actually do,” said Ara as if she was complaining as she helped Hera arrange some clothes on the bed.

“Like what?”

“Like wearing shoes and even preparing pajamas,” said Ara. “She can do that herself.”

Hera didn’t know about it. Because what she heard was that Elena had been living in that house since she gave birth until Hera returned home. Even when living together, Hera prefers to be alone in her room. Exactly so sick of meeting Elena.

Hera was quite relieved that she could make Elena not feel at home there. Also sorry for the maids who have to be stuck for at least two weeks with that woman.

Not long after, Jayden came while being supported by two men. He looked very pale and weak.

“What are you doing, Hera?” Jayden asked after the two men had laid him on the bed.

Hera looked at Ara signaling her to go out for a while. The woman just bowed and left, carrying Juan, following behind the two men.

“You will occupy this room. So Juan and I will move,” Hera replied after the door to the room was completely closed.

“Didn’t I tell you to stay here?” Jayden said with an annoyed look.

“I don’t want to!” refuse Hera.

“Hera—”

“Enough, Jayden!” cut off Hera. “That’s enough,” Hera said emphatically. She didn’t want to hope anymore. There was never any seriousness in a Jayden’s dictionary let alone Hera.

The woman is only a place for revenge and an outlet for hatred. And that made Hera tormented. Why is Jayden’s way of responding to something that makes it difficult for Hera to let go? The woman knew she would be hurt but persisted. Really Jayden is the real villain.

Jayden’s head felt like it was going to burst but he kept trying to get up to stop Hera’s steps.

“Hera, please don’t go …,” Jayden whispered desperately. But Hera ignored him until…

Prang!!!

Jayden accidentally hit the nightstand, causing the glass that was there to fall and shatter.

“Oh my God, Jayden!” Hera panicked because not only the glass fell but also Jayden’s body. Worse yet, he fell on broken glass until several parts of his body were injured and bleeding.

With all her might Hera helped Jayden back down on the bed. She don’t know where the strength came from that the woman could support Jayden alone.

“Akh!” Jayden groaned feeling the pain in his arm which he used as a support so his body didn’t touch the broken glass earlier.

“Why are you doing this, huh? You idiot! Watch your arm hurt like this! Your fever hasn’t gone down yet and now you’re adding to your pain!” said Hera angrily and instead of being scared, Jayden just smiled there.

“Ara, come in!”

“Yes, madam.” Ara widened her eyes and immediately approached Hera and Jayden. “Oh my God, what happened?” Panic Ara.

“Jayden fell. Please call Aunt to come over here and don’t forget to bring the medicine box too.”

“Very well, Madame Hera!” said Ara immediately carried out what Hera ordered. It didn’t take long for Ara to come back with Aunt and a maid who was probably the same age as Ara.

The two women cleaned the floor while Hera treated Jayden.

“You’re not afraid?” Jayden asked looking at Hera wistfully. All Jayden knew Hera had trauma to the blood and wounds. When she was a child she had seen her grandmother fall and seriously injured her arm. And when it happened, only Hera was there. Seeing the grandmother injured and covered in blood made Hera afraid, fortunately she still had time to ask for help before finally fainting.

“Not anymore. After giving birth to Juan,” said Hera. Little by little she did try to fight her fear. Maybe if it was just a minor wound like the one Jayden had now, Hera could fight her fear but she couldn’t be sure if she was dealing with a bigger wound. Hera just hoped she wouldn’t faint again.

“Thank God because I only want you to take care of me,” Jayden said making the three maids who were there smile shyly.

“AHKH!!” Jayden’s shriek made them all startled except for Hera as the culprit who made Jayden hurt.

“Hera, slow down! This hurts so much!” Jayden protested.

“Sorry,” said Hera shortly. Sounds very dishonest.

Hera had finished treating Jayden’s wound and helping the man to lie back down.

“Where are you going?” Jayden asked as Hera was about to leave.

“Getting food and medicine for you,” replied Hera, continuing her steps.

Jayden really hasn’t changed. This was not the first time the man had been sick and Hera had taken care of him. He’s the kind of person who gets really spoiled when he’s sick. In fact, always want to be accompanied. Make Hera sometimes overwhelmed.

“Where’s the food for Jayden?” Hera asked Bibi.

“That’s madam,” Bibi pointed at the tray on the table.

“Thanks, Bibi,” Hera said and took the tray to bring to Jayden. There was a bowl filled with porridge, fever-reducing medicine and a brown envelope.

Hera placed the tray on the nightstand. Since she entered the net, Jayden has not been separated from the brown envelope.

“What’s this?” Jayden asked taking the envelope.

“Divorce papers.”
