Chapter 200: Guest’s Arrival
Giselle's POV
I've heard a lot of things about the Shadowfang Pack, but the rumors I heard were nothing compared to what the Shadowfang Pack actually appeared like.
I couldn't believe that such a place would exist in this world. The moment I arrived, I thought I had entered paradise.
I glanced at Killian, who was looking around the Pack with awe written all over his face. None of us has ever been here. We looked like countryside bumpkins who entered the city for the first time. "What Ryker? Do you like what you see?" Killian asked his son, whom he had been carrying in his arms ever since we arrived.
Ryker slowly nodded his head as he stared at his father. Killian laughed happily at his son's response. "Of course, this place is nothing like our Pack," Killian responded with a big smile on his face. Ryker couldn't talk, but he could communicate with us with a nod or a shake of his head.
However, he only communicates with his father. When it comes to us, he never gives us anything that would make it easier for us to understand him. He would also never be this quiet and well-behaved when he's with us. Ryker is always on his best behavior when his father is around. He is just a little child, but he already knows who to suck up for.
"Alpha Killian and Luna Giselle," someone came and welcomed us as soon as we arrived in front of the Shadowfang Pack's Packhouse. "We are pleased to welcome you to our Pack," he bowed his head in respect before us. "My name is Henry, I am the Pack's Accommodation Manager. Please let us accompany you to your room," Henry spoke with a presentable smile.
With a wave of his hand, his men approached us and took our bags to help us.
"What's wrong, Ryker?" Killian asked his son worriedly when he suddenly turned and hugged his father with an upset look on his face.
I glanced at them and worriedly locked gazes with Killian. "You don't want to go inside?" Killian asked him as he placed a comforting hand on his back.
Ryker nodded with his chin on his shoulder.
Killian smiled. "You want to explore outside?"
Ryker nodded more eagerly this time.
"I see. You little kid... you can't wait to explore around, are you?" Killian teased him.
Ryker pulled away from the hug and shyly smiled at her father.
"Don't worry, if this is what Ryker wants then I'll personally show you around the Pack."
"Killian, it's been a journey. We should rest first before going anywhere," I spoke up to try to change his mind.
Ryker glanced at me with an unhappy look on his face.
"It's okay. I'm not that tired. Ryker rarely asks me for anything. Look, you are making him upset," Killian answered.
I sighed. These two fathers and sons are really always against me.
Just as I was about to open my mouth to answer, someone called out behind us. "Alpha Killian, is that you?!" Killian and I turned to look at where the question came from. Killian and I were both surprised when we saw another Alpha of a different Pack approaching us.
"Alpha, how have you been?" Killian asked him, happy to see him.
Killian has been doing business with him. They have an alliance, which is why they are close and happy to see each other.
"I'm fine! It's so great to see you here." his eyes widened, and his smile stretched even wider. "Is this your son?"
Ryker, who is not used to talking to strangers and being the center of attention, suddenly hugged his father in fear.
"Wait a minute, Alpha," Killian excused himself and approached me.Text © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
"Giselle, take Ryker first. Can you please show him around the pack for me? I'll catch up with you after this," Killian whispered as he handed Ryker to my arms.
"I'll take care of our son," I whispered back to assure him before Killian went back to his friend to continue their conversation.
I sighed as I carried Ryker in my
arms. I became exhausted after the

travel; I couldn't believe that this kid would cause a delay in my rest. Instead of resting in our room, still had to show him around the Pack.
"Luna!" Rhya rushed to us after she finished handling our luggages.
As soon as she arrived, I passed Ryker to her and stretched my arms. "Take care of him, the Alpha commanded that we show him around the Pack," I answered with
an irritated voice. en
Ryker stared at me like he could sense my anger.
"That stupid kid, if he didn't suggested something, I would be resting by now." My eyes turned to narrowed slits as I stared at Ryker.
"Luna, calm down. Ryker is just a little kid. You don't have to worry, I will take care of him myself," Rhya answered as she held Ryker lovingly in her arms.
I rolled my eyes. "Of course, that's your job! It's the reason why you're here anyways."
I followed Rhya as we walked to find a place where Ryker could play until we reached a colorful garden.
Back at the Silvermoon Pack, we also have our own garden. However, our garden is nothing compared to the garden that the Shadowfang Pack has.
The Shadowfang Pack is truly superior in everything
"Ryker! Ryker! Ryker where are you going?! Ryker come back!" Rhya's voice filled the whole garden as she continued shouting.
"What happened?!" I demanded angrily as I approached Rhya. "Where is Ryker?!"
I was just admiring the garden when Rhya had already lost Ryker.
"L-Luna," Rhya's voice trembled as she looked at me with fear on her face. "I had just brought down Ryker to allow him play with the flowers, but I didn't expect that he would run away from me!"
