Pursuing My Ex Wife in Full Blooming Spring

Chapter 224

Chapter 224

Scott silently held his glass, not sparing any of them a glance. He seemed completely out of the situation like they had nothing to do with him at all.

Olivia clenched her fists tightly. Then, she grabbed her bag and stormed off.

She wanted to see Scott. She wanted him to care for her. She wanted him to know that she did not like Connor and that he was the one she preferred. She wanted him to not be misunderstood. She did not want him to push her to Connor.

However, how could she stand such a behavior of his?

She was human. She had a temper.

Connor merely watched Olivia and made a call. "Follow her."

Dylan looked at Connor with a raised eyebrow. When Connor hung up the phone, Dylan said with a chuckle, "I thought you'd go after her."

Connor smiled. "That was in the past."

Dylan subconsciously looked at Connor's legs, but he then looked away as if nothing happened.

Since Olivia was gone, Dylan sat next to Connor. He picked up his glass and clinked Connor's glass. "You finally came to your senses. With women, you always need to know when to act. You can't just keep following them. If not, they'll never see you."

Dylan was a pro when it came to relationships. Nothing of what he said was false.

Connor smiled. He picked up his glass and clinked with Dylan's before taking a sip. "You're right."

Scott lowered his glass but still held onto it. He looked at Connor. "Are you planning to return to the country?"

Dylan asked, "What do you mean? He's here right now, right?"

Dylan did not understand what Scott meant, but Connor did. He said with a smile, "Yes. I've been abroad for a few years. I'm sick of it."

Dylan's eyes widened. He finally understood what Scott meant. "Are you saying you're not heading back? You'll be staying?"

Then, Dylan thought of something and added, "Is it because of Olivia?"

"Hm. I can't let her go on like this. It's not good for Scott or herself." Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Dylan raised his thumb. "Bro, you're really the most devoted one. That woman doesn't know how fortunate she is. What a pity."

Connor turned to look at Dylan and smiled. "You can just call her Olivia."

Dylan blinked before gesturing to Connor an 'OK' sign. He was not displeased at all.

Connor loved Olivia. At the same time, he also hoped that his friends could respect her despite not being a good character herself.

Dylan would do it out of respect for his friend.

"Thank you."

"It's fine."

They clinked glasses.

Connor then looked at Scott. From the moment he arrived, he barely said anything. They were friends for many years, so they understood each other well.

Connor raised his glass to Scott. "I'm sorry, Scott. Though, thanks, too."

There were some things they did not need to make explicitly clear, but they understood each other.

Scott looked at Connor. "It's good that you thought it through."

They clinked glasses. Connor smiled once more.

"I have. Very much."
