President’s Secret Obsession With Ex-wife

Chapter 99: Intercepting her family’s project

Under Nick’s eyes was intense sarcasm, and the corners of his mouth pursed coldly.

“Grandpa, did she say it herself?”

“Yeah, Tori’s very sensible.”

Emily handed over the medicinal juice and talked more than a little to, “Who in all of Veridian City wouldn’t want to give Nick a baby?”

That woman was really scheming to say such things to Grandpa. Nick was in the way of Grandpa’s health and would surely agree, even if only superficially.

She had liked to see the day after tomorrow just how thick-skinned that woman was to dare to talk like that!

But Emily made contact with Nick’s eyes and had to shut up slowly.

Nick pushed the potion to Adward, “I’ll try, Grandpa.”

The answer was exactly the same as before, but whether he’d made any effort at all, Edward didn’t know, so his neck was craned.

“I’m going to Shannon Villa tonight to see if you’re working as hard as you said.”

Thought Nick would panic, but he dropped his eyes lightly, “Well, just go.”

Where was Edward’s energy to go out in his body right now, he was saying that just to test Nick.

Now that he saw no fear on his face, he believed what he said.

“In the previous three years, you neglected Tori. She has not said a bad word about you in front of me. Now by taking advantage of this birthday party of Emily, it’s also just right to solemnly introduce her to everyone. Back then, your wedding was not organized, resulting in no one in the circle knowing what she looks like. In the future Tori will inevitably be bullied when she’s outside. ”

Edward had a great fondness for Victoria.

A flash of annoyance crossed Nick’s face, but it was hard to argue against Edward.

It was just a name anyway, and she’d utilized it quite a bit over the years.

“Just decide, it’s your body that’s most important right now.”

“Did you go see Daniel today?”

“Later.”

Now Mr. Andrews was completely speechless.

After Nick left.

“Declan, find out what big projects Blackwell’s company has been working on lately and block it.”

Declan froze, stopping Blackwell’s company’s business?

Had she done something to provoke Mr. Andrews?

He had doubts in his mind, but he didn’t dare to ask more.

Blackwell’s company did have a recent program, but those programs were too small for Andrews Enterprise.

It was only worth 200 million.

But this $200 million program was important to Blackwell’s company.

If it was intercepted, it was going to be a big loss for sure.

“Okay, I’ll send someone to do that right away.”

Nick’s face was cold and only looked out at the street indifferently. He didn’t like smartass women, and if she thought she could control him by controlling his grandpa, she was sadly mistaken.

There was always a small price to pay for her smartness.

“Also, when you go see Daniel later, warn him to keep her from doing anything extra.”

Declan nodded, indicating he knew.

And Victoria didn’t know it all yet.

She had sent the construction plans this morning to the remodeling team she had worked with before.

But after never getting any feedback from them, she took the initiative to call and ask, only to be surprised when he didn’t answer the phone.

Victoria was keenly aware that something might be wrong, and she decided to make a trip to the company where this remodeling team was based.

It was two o’clock in the afternoon when Victoria got there.

The receptionist saw her and stopped her in her tracks.

“Hello, ma’am, an appointment, please.”ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

The owner of this company was called Martinez Moris, and they had worked together many times before. It wasn’t the first time she had been here, and when they had worked together before, she had often come here to butt heads with the team about the details. But now, she was stopped.

“I’m looking for Martinez.”

“I’m sorry to say that Mr. Moris is traveling today, and I don’t expect him to be back until next week.”

It was an excuse; this receptionist clearly knew her and had deliberately cut her off.

Martinez won’t answer her calls, and the receptionist said he was already traveling, so Victoria guessed that in all likelihood he was still at the office and just wouldn’t see her for some reason.

A smile crossed her face and the corners of her mouth curved up, “Okay, then I know, I’ll come back afterward.”

The receptionist sighed in relief and waited for her to leave before calling the intercom.

“Mr. Moris, the lady has been stopped, and she says to come back afterward.”

Martinez nodded and hung up before calling the Three-Beam Group side.

“Mr. Steele, congratulations on your promotion, I did what you told me to do this time. The matter of signing a contract with my company…..”

Lucas Steele laughed softly, his fingertips lightly twirling his pen.
