Chapter 83: Bloodbane
her
Tatiana stands across from me, presence commanding even the very air of the stone tower. Her
ne tower. Her icy blue eyes, cold and calculating, fix on a point just beyond me. “Enter, Bloodbane,” she commands, her voice echoing against the ancient walls.
A swirling vortex of red light materializes in the air, hovering in the centre of the room like a cloud of crimson mist. At first I think it’s another portal, but then it begins to coalesce into the form of a man. He’s so tall that he’s practically a giant, easily seven feet, with an aura that’s both captivating and intimidating. As the vortex fades, it leaves behind a figure so supernaturally handsome it’s almost unreal. His muscles are defined, each contour highlighted as if sculpted by the gods themselves. His long, blood–red hair cascades past his shoulders, a vivid contrast to the paleness of his skin. His ears are long and pointed, almost elvish or fey. He looks like someone familiar – someone from a movie or a TV show,
That’s when it hits me. He looks sort of like a much brawnier, red haired version of the elven archer Legolas from Lord of The Rings, or even Gerald of Rivera from the Witcher, but a dark, distorted version, menacingly handsome with a cold beauty,
But it’s his eyes that catch my attention the most blood red, they burn with an intensity that feels like it could set the world ablaze. His body is adorned with swirling red ink tattoos, arcane symbols and strange shapes and patterns, like the text of some ancient spellbook. He looks like a God from some Norse myth, an ancient warrior,
Despite the danger that radiates off him, his beauty is undeniable. He looks to be in his mid to late twenties, but the arrogance and danger that cling to him suggest a being far older, one who has traversed centuries, Somehow, I can immediately sense that this is a being far older than Tatiana, older than Aleksandr, older than Anya even he is as ancient as the world is old.
–
Armour or robes would suit him, but strangely, the only item of clothing he’s wearing is a short red loincloth, made of some flimsy textured crimson material – almost like leather, but sealy… snakeskin? Weird. Something tells me this wasn’t his choice of attire.
As he steps fully into the room, he makes a mocking bow, his movements fluid and full of a grace that belies his size. “At your service, Mistress,” he speaks to Tatiana, his voice dripping with sarcasm, yet there’s a resonance to it, a depth that suggests untold power.
His scent fills the tower, woodsmoke and ash, cinders from a fire that’s both enticing and warning of the danger that smoulders within him. Is he a demon? The winged creature earlier was terrifying, but this creature – Bloodbane is a bar older, more deadly evil
Standing before me, Bloodhane is the embodiment of arrogance and menace, yet there’s a seriousness to him that suggests he is not one to be taken lightly. His blood red gaze meets mine, and for a moment, I feel as if he’s peering into the very depths of my soul, seeing things I’d rather keep hidden.
My eyes drift again to the small red loincloth he’s wearing. Is he Tatiana’s sex slave? Does she dress him like this to humiliate him?
As if to confirm my suspicions, Tatiana walks over to him, and yanks away his loincloth in one fell swoop. He doesn’t even flinch, remaining frozen in place as still as a statue, utterly expressionless as he’s exposed.
try to look away, but Tatiana begins to laugh.
“I’d advise you to get a look at this, Arianna,” Tatiana says, her voice demure. “Aren’t you curious about the instrument of your virginity’s demise?
LOOK… AT… HIM!”
Unable to resist my curiosity any longer, my eyes roam down to his now fully exposed cock. It’s not just monstrously large – I realise, to my horror, that he has a literal monster cock. Even without it being erect, I can already see that it has three rows of long, cruel spikes ridged all the way down it, each spike the the length and girth of my pinky finger. The spikes are lying flat against the long shaft right now, but I can already imagine what they’ll do if – when – he gets erect. And even without the spikes, the cock itself is so insanely large that I already know there’s no way I’d survive sex with this monster – he’d rip me apart from the inside.
“What’s the deal, is he meant to fuck me to death?” I ask Tatiana sarcastically, trying to hide my terror. “You do know that us humans are a lot more breakable than you indestructible vampires, right? i thought you wanted to take my virginity, not kill me.”
“Not yet.”
Tatiana says, clarifying “I don’t want to kill you, yet.”
“Well then maybe you shouldn’t have daggerdick over there stab me to death with that weapon between his legs,” I say, trying to sound cocky and hide the sheer terror I’m feeling right now.
“Don’t worry, Bloodbane wouldn’t waste the use of his thoms on you,” Tatiana says with a smirk. “The females of his kind are quite ferocious, wild and spirited, and sometimes need a little subjugation during the mating act. The male’s spines are a way of bridling the female, keeping her in place to arrive his seed. Luckily, he has the ability to retract and erect them at will, so you’ll probably survive this little ordeal”
Jesus Christ, that’s horrible. I’ve heard of some animals having barbed penises, but I never thought much about it.
I can’t let this happen to me.
“Bloodbane, begin,” Tatiana orders her slave, stepping back to enjoy the show. “Ruin her. Try to make it pleasurable for her. I want Aleksandr to see her for the little dirty little whore that she is,”
What the hell is she talking about? How would Aleksandr see any of this?
As I stand trembling, she draws closet, a smirk playing at the corners of her lips. From within some invisible pocket in her shimmering golden dress, she retrieves an ominous pendant, shaped like an unblinking eve, suspended on a thin, dark chain. With a whispered incantation, she releases it, and it Boats between us, hanging in the air as if held by unseen hands. The Eye opens slowly, its pale purple iris shimmering with a malevolent glow.
The All Seeing Eye.” Tatiana taunts, her voice smooth as silk yet cold as ice. “this little trinket will capture every moment of your fear and your ecstasy, every shiver of pleasure and pain, the very moment your innocence is stolen. Trust me, Bloodbane is a very skilled lover – he will help you put on quite
the
Her laugh a silken thread lacing through the chilly air. Once I send the All Seeing Eye to Aleksandr, the moment he touches it, he will see what the trinket has seen, he will see your moans of ecstasy as you are ruined by my slave. A noble being like Aleksandr Vasiliev has no need for used goods.” Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
“You’re wrong.” I his at her, but she just laughs.
The Eve stares at me, unblinking as it hangs in the air between us, and I feel its gate pierce through me, recording every shudder and every helpless glance. Powerless, I shrink back against the wall, pressing myself up against the cold stone, nowhere to run..
Bloodbane moves forward, completely expressionless.
Now, Bloodbane.” Tatiana says impatiently. “I don’t have all day,”
“As you wish, Mistress,” he says, an edge of scorn or perhaps sarcasm in his voice as he moves closer to me..
Think, think, THINK! There must be some way out of this. I’m tired of being a victim. It’s time to take back my power, to write my own story.
As Bloodbane draws near and out of Tatiana’s earshot, I hear him murmur to me, just loud enough for me to hear, “I want you to know, this brings me
no pleasure.”
“Then don’t do it!” I say, not caring if Tatiana overhears.
“I will be as gentle as I can,” he murmurs, reaching his hand out towards me, swirling with red inked tattoos and arcane symbols, and that’s when I get the craziest idea ever. Adrenaline pumps through me, and I spring into action.

Chapter 84: A New Bloodwraith is Born
I barely have time to think. One moment his hand is reaching for me, perhaps about to rip my clothing from my body, or to grab me and bring me closer to him. The next moment, I have sprung forward, taking him off guard and in one split second motion. I take a hold of his muscled forearm and bite down as hard as I can.
He reels back in surprise, staggering backwards, his glowing red eyes growing wide with alarm. He looks down at his forearm, noting with surprise the deep bite mark marring his pale flesh, and the thin rivulets of red now flowing freely down his arm, dripping to the stone floor.
My mouth tastes like blood, and it’s a small victory, but I know it’s not enough. What’s one bite mark on a seven foot demon?
But to my surprise, Bloodbane staggers back, starting in horror at the bite mark, seemingly in a state of shock.
“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! Taliana screams, her voice hot with rage and an edge of unbridled terror.
As the metallic tang of Bloodbane’s blood fills my mouth, a surge of warmth floods through me, racing like wildfire through my veins. The sensation is overwhelming, not painful but intense, like every cell in my body is suddenly buzzing with electricity. I feel the sensation of fizzing in every fibre of my being. it’s as if I’m dissolving from the inside out, transforming into something else, something not quite human. I should be terrified, but I’m oddly calm.
almost
I barely register Tatiana’s enraged screams echoing around the stone tower. “STUPID GIRL!” she yells, but her voice sounds distant, inconsequential. My attention is fixed on the strange and exhilarating changes overtaking my body. I feel sort of fuzzy, like pins and needles, a million times over.
Looking down, I gasp as I see my hands becoming translucent and blooming into swirling clouds of red mist, a shimmering crimson smoke similar to the one from which Bloodbane had materialized when he entered the tower, before they reform and solidify into my hands once more. The transformation continues, and I feel amazing lighter, faster, powerful beyond my wildest dreams. Power and joy surges through me, a sudden elation, the most wonderful ecstasy. Suddenly, all of my senses are heightened, supernatural. Every detail in my field of vision is razor sharp, I can see the Individual emerald leaf fronds of the moss growing between the tower’s stones. I can hear a spider in the roof of the tower spinning her web, watching the scene with idle curiosity. I can feel the icy cold emanating from Tatiana, I can smell her fear.
I’ve never taken cocaine, but based on what people have told me it feels like, I’m guessing it feels something a lot like this
I feel like a literal God. Nothing can fuck with me. I feel like a could run a thousand milles, like I could snap my fingers and end the entire world.
“What is… this?” I manage to ask Bloodhane, my voice echoing strangely in my ears. “What’s happening to me?”
Bloodbane, his earlier shock replaced by a look of awe and wonder, steps closer. “You’re crossing over, becoming like me,” he explains, his voice a mix of wonder and caution. A Bloodwraith. We are ethereal beings–solid one moment and mist the next, commanding the very air and the blood that flows through the world. We are powerful, nearly indestructible.”
His voice grows darker, and he talks slowly, somberly, as if really wanting his words to sink in.
“By tasting my blood, you’ve done what no mortal dares to do. You’ve become a hybrid, part human, part Bloodwraith. For what it’s worth, you now share our powers,” he continues, his eyes gleaming with a fierce intensity. “And our curse.”
Curse? The word echoes through my mind, but I don’t have t
time to focus on it.
Tatiana’s voice cuts through the air again, sharper, more desperate. “You will obey me! Kill her now, Bloodbane! End this! I am your Mistress, and I command you!”
But Bloodbane smirks, turning to me instead of his mistress. “You should try out your newfound powers,” he suggests, an edge of rebellion in his voice. “I’ve longed to shred Tatiana into bloody ribbons for centuries, but I am bound to her as a servant through a lost bet. However, you, Arianna, are not.”
Realization dawns on me, along with the power coursing through my veins. I can act freely. I’m powerful now, maybe more powerful even than a vampire. Tatiana, seeing the shift in dynamics, steps back, her eyes wide with fear.
I focus on the new sensations within me, the ethereal energy that I can almost command at will. Encouraged by Bloodbane’s nod, I will myself to dissolve into red mist, feeling my body obry effortlessly. I reappear behind Tatiana in a swirl of red vapor, feeling more alive than ever.
“Bloodbane is right, Tatiana,” I say, my voice calm but carrying a new, menacing tone. “I am free now. And I am not your puppet.”
