Chapter 3241 Outsiders Cannot Enter
“Nonsense. Even if the ancestral land has awakened, it’s not a place we can enter. However, you all can. When you do, inquire with Old Mr. Ozrell about what’s happening and why it opened ahead of time.”
Lawrence, too, was eager to understand the reason behind this peculiar occurrence. Unfortunately, his group was prohibited from entering the ancestral land; only the younger generation of the Seizon family had that privilege.
“We haven’t made any preparations since the ancestral land opened so suddenly. I think our best course of action now is to discuss whom we’re allowing to visit the ancestral land,” suggested Enrique to Lawrence.
Lawrence nodded before instructing people to guard the ancestral land. The rest of the group returned to the living room. Since the ancestral land had awakened unexpectedly, they hadn’t yet decided who would be sent in.
Lawrence’s and Enrique’s children weren’t the sole representatives of the younger generation in the Seizon family. Taking into account the branch families, there were dozens of them.
Therefore, before each awakening of the ancestral land, they would decide in advance who would enter first. They couldn’t all rush in simultaneously. Given the abrupt awakening of the ancestral land, a discussion was needed to determine who would enter.
“What about Cloud, Dad? If we allow Cloud entry, his identity will be exposed,” Cade whispered into Lawrence’s ear.
At that point, Cloud was only known as an alchemist hired to treat Claudius. If he were to enter the ancestral land, his true identity would have to be revealed. Belonging to NôvelDrama.Org.
However, if that happened, Cloud would be entangled in the power struggle within the Seizon family. The last thing Lawrence wished was for Cloud to be embroiled in the conflict.
“Don’t reveal his identity just yet. I’ll come up with a plan to secure his entry into the ancestral land,” Lawrence responded.
Cade nodded in silence upon hearing his father’s response. Meanwhile, Jared remained unaware of the discussions taking place within the Seizon family in the living room. Being an outsider, he had no right to participate.
“You know, it’s quite fortunate that you’re here when the ancestral land has opened, Mr. Chance. There’s a considerable amount of free nascence in it,” Cloud informed Jared. He could sense the latter’s interest in the Seizon family’s ancestral land.
In response, Jared offered a faint grin. “This is your family’s ancestral land. Outsiders are prohibited from entering. However, you’re likely to be granted entry. If so, seize the opportunity.”
“The rules are made by people, Mr. Chance, and people’s perspectives can change. I’ll discuss it with Uncle Lawrence. After all, you saved Grandpa’s life. Uncle Lawrence might consider letting you in because of that.” Cloud expressed his hope that Jared could gain entry, convinced of the significant benefits the latter would derive from the visit.
Smiling, Jared reassuringly patted Cloud’s shoulder. “Focus on yourself, not me. Once your grandfather recovers, we’ll have to leave soon. We can’t linger here for too long.”
As fascinated as I am by the Seizon family’s ancestral land, I can’t request Cloud to plead with Lawrence to allow me entry. This is their family rule, and Cloud shouldn’t break it just after arriving
here.
In the evening, the Seizon family came to a decision and compiled a list of individuals permitted to visit the ancestral land.
As night fell, Cade provided Cloud with a Seizon family outfit to change into, signaling Cloud’s imminent entry into the ancestral land.
“Tomorrow morning, you will step into the ancestral land. I won’t be accompanying you this time, so Livya and Miya will be looking after you. Remember, don’t reveal yourself before entering the ancestral land. Once you’re inside, you should be fine,” Cade instructed.
“I understand, Cade.” Cloud nodded. Then, with a moment of hesitation, he inquired, “Can individuals outside the Seizon family access the ancestral land, Cade? Can outsiders visit it too?”
“Absolutely not. This is our family’s ancestral land. Outsiders won’t be granted entry.” Perplexed, Cade asked, “Is there something on your mind, Cloud?”
“Oh, it’s nothing,” Cloud replied with a smile, shaking his head.
