My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna)

Chapter 2352

Chapter 2352

I smirked coldly, moved closer to Jordan, and lowered my voice while gritting my teeth. "Jordan, you're such a mean, petty person."

After that, I reached out and pushed him hard in the chest, making him stumble. He staggered back two steps.

Jordan grabbed the fence and tried to stand firm. As soon as he stood still, he replied proudly, "Thank you. I am indeed a mean person."

"A gentleman won't belittle his opponent to achieve his goal."

I said these cold words, took off the coat, threw it on his face, then walked back, just as how we went up the rooftop.

Jordan chased closely behind me and continued to say more sarcastic words, "No matter how far you go, what happened here still happened. Hiding away wouldn't change anything."

"Who says so? Tell them to stay here forever. If I don't come back, I won't see anything, and it'll mean that nothing happened!" As I spoke, I deliberately quickened my footsteps.

After returning home, I ran straight into the bedroom and locked the door when Jordan was

not paying attention.

He immediately knocked on the door.

"Arianna, open the door."

Jordan quickly caught up and knocked on the door lightly at first, then heavily when I didn't respond.

"No." I leaned against the door and refused to sleep in the same bed as him. "You deliberately led me to see Rosalie and Hendrix. Since you want me to be unhappy, I won't let you have a good time either. Go sleep in the study!"

"So smart of you," Jordan said in a low voice, with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

I wasn't that smart, but he was too bad at hiding. He pretended to be relaxed as he mentioned Rosalie, all while pulling me closer to the fence. It was obvious he wanted me to see them from above. He was being too evil.

But a moment later, he came up with his own theory, "Actually, I wasn't being unreasonable at all. The two of them are indeed very

E

close, if nothing had happene

before, you wouldn't have noticed anything no matter how many schemes I put on, right?"

What he said was just wrong. "But I have the right to choose. I can choose not to look, and you don't have to worry about making decisions for me.

That's all. I don't want to argue further, and I'm going to sleep. Hope you'll have a sleepless night!"

I took off my shoes and jumped onto the bed. I leaned towards the spot where Hendrix had laid the night before and looked at the ceiling.

I thought I could sleep well in this room that belonged to Hendrix and me and had his scent.

But when I thought of Hendrix, I couldn't help but guess at his intentions of approaching Rosalie.

Judging from the meeting, it was

not hard to tell that Rosalie was not a conservative person. In some aspects, she might be able to work well with Hendrix. It was difficult for him to climb higher, especially after reaching the current position in such a short period. If he wanted to

destroy Jordan's company once and for all, he would have to cooperate

with Jordan's enemies.

It was clear that those old men were supportive of Hendrix. In any case, they were old to be helpful to his plan. Rosalie became the most important person in this.

Getting Rosalie to be on his side might be the key to breaking down the illegal business.

People who work for Jordan wouldn't care so much about relationships. I wonder what Hendrix would do to get her on his side.Property © NôvelDrama.Org.

As I thought about it, I fell into a deep sleep.

When I was half asleep, I felt that I was being held in a warm embrace.

I subconsciously thought that I was dreaming of Hendrix, so I didn't refuse but let my guard down.

However, when I opened my eyes the next day, I suddenly noticed Jordan sleeping next to me. I was so scared that I jumped out of bed in an instant and stood aside barefooted.

Jordan woke up after hearing the

noise. He stretched himself slowly, got up, and leaned against the headboard. He smiled mysteriously and said, "Morning. Are you just going to treat it like nothing had happened?"
