Just when even Kayson thought that nothing would go wrong, a voice spoke up abruptly.

Kayson frowned when he felt the raging confidence in Eddy‘s emotions, so he stopped after raising the bid to $ 140,000,000

Gael appeared before him. “Who angered you, sir?”

Taylor was currently sitting across from Waylon. Waylon had just arrived at his office today when Taylor came for a visit soon after. The man had said that he was here for a drink, and Waylon could not possibly turn him away.

Taylor was a patrol from Eternalporium . Waylon had to treat him properly, regardless. He just did not understand

why Taylor would visit him so suddenly. After all, he had bruised the man‘s ego the night before yesterday.

Taylor chatted with Waylon casually, and a few hours flew past. When it was around lunchtime, Taylor suddenly got up to bid goodbye.

An ominous feeling filled Waylon when he caught the delight in Taylor‘s eyes, but his face only fell after the latter left

Swenson appeared in time with a grim expression.

“He was stalling for time.”

Waylon shook his head. “No, his main purpose was to stall me so I‘d be occupied... Is there anything particular going on today?”

Swenson shook his head. None that he knew of.

The moment he answered, Seth spoke immediately. “Mr. Pattingson, Dickinson International‘s gone to the Millers.”

“It‘s Taylor Yost!”

Waylon scowled. It was just a Dickinson International project, but Taylor insisted on rubbing it in his face.

“Can you brief me about what actually happened, Mr. Jackson?”

Seth told him about the bidding, and Waylon replied calmly, “Looks like Mr. Jackson has taken Kayson‘s side. This is not what I expected.”

Seth chuckled. “Please keep it a secret, Mr. Pattingson.”

After they ended their conversation, Swenson asked, “ What do you plan to do?”

Waylon answered flatly, “What else can I do? The favor I owe Kayson isn‘t returned if this isn‘t resolved. I can only try and repay this favor!”

He had already taken the initiative to draw the line with Kayson, but Taylor had to make his life difficult. In that case, he could not be blamed!

When Kayson went to the Tinsleys, Jeremy had found out

about the bidding outcome and rushed home.

“I‘m surprised there‘s still an accident when Mr. Pattingson‘s already involved,” said Jeremy. “Kayson, do you want to get in touch with him?”

Kayson shook his head. “No need. Let‘s try keeping him out of this if I can take care of it.”

Jeremy paused but said nothing more.

“Uncle Jeremy, I want all the information on the Perezs and Eddy Perez‘s particulars, down to the details of even how many lovers he has,” said Kayson.
