My Fabulous Girl Boss

Chapter 710

My Fabulous Girl Boss By Evergreen Chapter 710

Chapter 710 Ever since Livia was saved in Greenspring, she had never gone out alone.

“I‘m not sure either. No one‘s picking up when I call Mr. Veal.”

Kayson asked, “I‘ll make a trip to Heathein then. Uncle Royce, do you know where their headquarters is?”

“That I do, but is it too abrupt to just go over like this?” Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Kayson shook his head. “Not fulfilling what he‘s promised me is not something he can just get by with.”

As he spoke, the rumble of the engine was heard from the door. Kayson‘s gaze felt off when he scanned with mind expansion and said, “Looks like I don‘t have to go there now. Hank‘s here.”

The father and daughter were surprised. As expected, Hank‘s voice came from the mansion‘s door that was left open.

“Mr. Shore, may I come in?”

Royce had no idea of the intention of his visit, but he dared not mistreat a peak–level master.

“Mr. Veal, come in!”

Hank walked in, looking slightly pale, like he was injured.

He was startled when he came in and saw Kayson before he greeted dryly, “I wasn‘t expecting you here, Mr. Yarde.”

Kayson took a glance at him and frowned. “You‘re hurt?”

Hank winced. “Yeah... Mr. Yarde, Mr. Shore, I‘m sorry. I‘m afraid I won‘t be able to fulfill my promise from last time.”

Royce‘s heart sank the moment he heard him. Who would protect his daughter‘s safety now?

Kayson said calmly, “Tell us what happened , Mr. Veal.”

Hank sighed. “There are two peak–level grandmasters in Heathein who are closer to the Ether Hall‘s chief...

“The Ether Hall‘s chief knows of my intention and rejected me on behalf of the two grandmasters . He even claimed that Heathein will never provide any fighter to Mr. Shore.”

Royce scoffed angrily. “Heathein, huh? I don‘t remember when I‘ve ever offended you!”

Hank did not want to provoke the richest man in Skyriv and quickly said, “Mr. Shore, I‘m not quite sure why the Ether Hall‘s chief is doing this, but I‘m certain there‘s no conflict between you and Heathein.”

Royce harrumphed. “So what is this Ether Hall chief‘s intention?”

“I‘m not too sure either… but the Ether Hall‘s chief can‘t represent the whole Heathein,” replied Hank.

Kayson asked, “What else did the Ether Hall‘s chief say?”

Hank did not answer right away but looked hesitant and conflicted. Kayson did not urge him either, leaving him ample time to think.

After a long time , Hank sighed. “The Ether Hall‘s chief also said that Mr. Shore has offended someone big and asked for me to keep my distance from him lest I get burned too.”

There was a hint of rage between Royce‘s brows before he knitted them together. “Someone big? There‘s someone I can‘t afford to offend in Skyriv?”

The massive wealth he currently held was, without a doubt, acquired by stepping on others all the way. There were plenty of people he had offended, so it was normal that there were people seeking revenge.

However, to say that there was someone he could not afford to offend given his current status… there was probably only a handful of them in the whole of Skyriv!

Hank seemed hesitant to speak again, but a car suddenly came to a stop outside before a panicked voice rang.

“Dad, something happened! The seniors want to remove your position as the hall chief and chase the both of us out of Heathein!”

Hank was bewildered as the man running in panic was his son–Josiah!
