Chapter 36 Mysterious Guest
George didn't know that Christian was responsible for yesterday's trending search. He thought
Anastasia paid for his scandals in order to get revenge on him.
Anastasia didn't bother to waste time on such a fool.
She directly told the security guards that if he continued to cause trouble, they could call the police.
The filming on the TV station went smoothly.
Those four interns were well-behaved, sensible, and eager to learn, and their personalities were also
pleasant. They had their own style, especially Mae.
On the first day of the filming, Anastasia even rushed over to attend the opening ceremony.
When everyone was ready, the staff said that a mysterious guest hadn't arrived.
It was said that it was a professional dancer from the famous Wonder Dance who would be the judge.
She would wear a mask in front of the cameras because she didn't like to show her face.
Anastasia looked at the busy staff, walked to a chair on the side, and sat down.
Then the sound of high heels appeared and got closer.
Not far away, the director greeted her in a flattering manner.
"It is a great honor to have your presence. I heard that you dance in the Wonder Dance, which is the
top dance troupe in the world!"
The woman brushed her long hair with a smile, and her voice fell into Anastasia's ears unhurriedly.
"I have been away for three years. I still prefer the environment in my hometown."
Anastasia's eyes narrowed. The voice... C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
She turned her head. As expected, she saw Beatrice standing there with a smile and chatting with the
director.
Anastasia froze slightly. What a haunting woman!
When Beatrice looked up, she also saw Anastasia. Perhaps she deliberately wanted to disgust
Anastasia, so she walked up to her. Beatrice smiled, and her voice was soft.
"Ms. Graves, what a coincidence! I didn't expect you to send the interns to the show in person!"
Anastasia sat there, expressionless. She took a glance at her and sneered meaningfully,
"Ms. Cohen, I thought that you would like to find a crack in the ground to hide yourself, but I didn't
expect you to expose yourself to the public."
The director had just returned home, and he didn't know about the quarrels between the two women,
so he stepped forward and said,
"Ms. Graves, this is the mysterious guest recommended by Mr. Newton, Ms. Beatrice Cohen. She will
be the judge of this competition."
Mr. Newton? Terence?
She seemed to remember that Terence's mother, Samara Newton, was the daughter of the Bates
Group and that Terence's father, Erik Newton, was a famous director, who had a great say in the circle.
Anastasia glanced contemptuously. "Did the expelled intern become a judge? It seems that the
arrangement is quite playful!"
The director paused and blinked blankly.
Beatrice looked at her proudly and explained with a smile,
"I have no choice. I said I wanted to start from scratch, but he said it was too hard. And I still have to
take care of the child. He doesn't want me to be so tired, so I can only be a judge."
She covered her mouth and smiled extremely smugly.
She thought that public opinion would have ruined her. Unexpectedly, a favourable turn came.
"Ms. Graves, don't worry. I won't avenge myself at work like you. I will treat everyone equally."
Beatrice looked meaningfully at the acquaintances on the stage, especially Mae. She narrowed her
eyes, and a fierce look flashed in her eyes.
Anastasia instantly knew who Beatrice was referring to.
She stood up with a smile. Without even looking at Beatrice, she sarcastically said,
"Any waste can be a judge. Is this show still for humans?"
