Life After Prison

Chapter 2299

Chapter 2299

The echoing cry of the giant monster reverberated as the Sky-Soil Zenith had grown to the size of a mountain and crashed down on it. The monster's silverish scales began to fall off-a sign that Severin decision to change tactics had paid off. Relief soon washed over him.

Had the Sky-Soil Zenith failed, then escape would be Severin's only recourse. Since he had already gotten the metal Uru from the meteorite belt, there was no point in engaging the creature in prolonged combat. The monster was quite valuable in many different aspects-its blood was a seventh-grade ingredient useful in alchemical pills, while its strong flesh that had condensed years and years of power of the galaxy could be used as an alchemical ingredient or as food for consumption.Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

However, obtaining those valuable items entailed having to risk his life.

The cosmic being had dwelled for ages in the starry sky, enduring the relentless onslaught of the Nine Heavens Wind as well as the black holes. Such was the reason behind its nail-like silver skin and strength that rivaled even that of spiritual treasures. Unfortunately, that darn monster had strong defensive and offensive powers that could swiftly kill paragon-level practitioners.

"I need to end this, and fast!" Severin muttered to himself. A prolonged battle would risk attracting unwanted attention, further compounding the challenges he would face. With a resolute expression, he wielded the Sky-Soil Zenith once more, causing an audible crack as the void shattered. Elemental energy was swept along with the turbulence of black holes. Cóntent belongs to NovélDráma. Org

The monster roared defiantly, lifting its arms to deliver a forceful blow that aimed at crushing Severin beneath its formidable strength. Severin responded to the impending strike and wielded the Green Shield to form a protective barrier.

The impact propelled Severin backward, and his expression turned serious. "Damn it! This monster's brute force shows no sign of waning!"

With little time for contemplation, Severin's hand glowed with a dark light that summoned the Sky-Soil Zenith into the air. The treasure erupted in a burst of rainbow-colored divine light, and its aura began to intensify further. Its power grew and grew until it crushed the surrounding space with a deafening creak.

The galaxy monster endured another powerful blow, shedding scales and splattering golden blood across the meteorite belt.

Seizing the opening, Severin brandished his Scarletsky and channeled the boundless swordwill into a swift and fierce sword light. He then slashed down within hesitation.

A golden sword light filled the sky in a most resplendent spectacle. It cleaved through the void, destroying the elemental energy and the Nine Heavens Gale as it gently descended upon the galaxy monster.

The next second, a dull thud was heard from that once furious monster. Severin then noticed a golden thread materializing on its body and extending slowly across its girth. After a few seconds, the golden thread exploded, and the galaxy monster split neatly in two.

Severin, witnessing the creature's demise, breathed a heavy sigh of relief.
