Seventy Three
“Robyn Denver. The one and only,” A tall man, dressed in a fine, two-piece suit takes my hand in his as he brings my hand to his lips and plants a kiss on the back of my palm.
“I have heard so much about you.”
“Oh, really?” I ask, a small smile on my lips as I sneak a peak at Dominique by my side, his arm around my waist to keep me by his side.
“William Gray. Dominique’s father.” The man says as he lets go of my hand.
“It’s nice to meet you,” I tell him.
“It’s nice to meet you too. I have heard so much about you, and you, my dear, are very exquisite.”
I smile, as I briefly glance at the Cuban woman by his side. She looks to be in her mid or late thirties. Probably his wife, with the way she’s holding onto him.
“You don’t look bad yourself, William.” And that’s true. Good looks run in their family, I guess. For a man who has three grown-up children, he’s very fit and good-looking.
“Ah, don’t flatter an old man.” William chuckles as he smiles at me. “Meet my wife Maria.”
Maria smiles at me as she waves a little. “Hello.”
“Nice to meet you.”
“It’s a pleasure. Beautiful dress, by the way. You’ve got good taste.” Maria says.
I chuckle. “Thanks.” Maria nods once at me.
“Why don’t we go sit down? The party has already started.” Dominique says.
“Yes,” William says. “Robyn, I hope we have a chance to chat sometime soon. It’s nice to really meet you.” William says.
“That will be nice.” With a small pat on my back, William and Maria walk toward the long dining table with guests already seated talking and laughing.
“Your dad’s nice,” I say to Dominique as we walk to the table.
“Yeah,” Dominique says. “And you really are exquisite.”
I blush. “Oh, shut up.”
Dominique chuckles, his hand on my body soothes my nerves as we stop by the long dining table. Dominique pulls out a chair for me to sit and I sit down. He takes a seat next to me, and I notice a few people on the table glance at us.
“Robyn, I’m glad you could join us tonight,” Camilla says as she smiles at me. “I heard you were sick. I hope you’re doing better now?” Camilla asks as she gives me a knowing smile.
“Yeah. Thanks.” I smile at Camilla before looking away to glare at Aimee who wouldn’t stop staring at Dominique since we sat down. She locks eyes with me as she scoffs under her breath and looks away.
Fucking skank.
I lock eyes with Lorenzo who’s sitting across from me and he gives me a small smile. I return the smile before looking away. Camilla’s rehearsal dinner venue is a rooftop restaurant not too far from the hotel. The scenery is beautiful and equally Pascaltic, with the sea and the beach right behind us. I can hear the sounds of waves even as waiters dress our table with different kinds of cuisine.
And as the groom’s father gives a toast, followed by the bride’s father, William, Dominique’s unwavering gaze is fixed on me. His hand is on my bare thigh through the high split of my dress as he gently squeezes my thigh as if he’s trying to calm my raging nerves.

Camilla’s guests are no longer occupying the table but the floor, with glasses of cocktails in their hands as they chatter and laugh.
Dominique, with his warm hand wrapped around my hand, leads me to the corner of the room.
“You know we could always slip out of this party and go back to our room so that I can feast on you. We still have an unfinished discussion, remember?” Dominique asks, as he loops his arms around my waist and pulls me forward against his strong body.
I smirk, my palms on his toned chest as I trail my fingers down his torso. “Tell me. How many women have you used that line on?”
Dominique smirks as he chuckles lightly. “Maybe a few. Or it could be just one?”
I smile. “Of course. Like I will believe you.”
“You don’t have to. I think the important thing is that you’re right here in my arms. You can’t begin to imagine how long I’ve wanted you,” he says, his voice calm and velvety, sending a wave of need to wash over me.
This man is going to be my ruin if I’m not careful. And maybe I’d like that. To be ruined by his touch.
He glides his hand up and down my bare back, sending shivers down my spine as we stare into each other’s eyes. My need for him grows every day, leaving me craving for his touch every waking morning. And if he whispers more dirty promises into my ear, I’ll be left with no choice but to drag him back to our hotel suite and let him do to me whatever he wants.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
That’s how far I’ve fallen and I’m still falling.
“You are beautiful,” he whispers.
They are just three words.
You are beautiful.
Three words that probably mean different things, but the way he said them, the words rolling off his tongue effortlessly, it means a lot to me and that’s just fucking strange. Dominique has a way with words which have a huge effect on me I didn’t think was possible. I can feel the butterflies dancing in my stomach and goosebumps filling up the surface of my skin.
God, I need him. And like an addict I crave him every day.
“You’re perfect. Your eyes, your lips, every part of you is perfect.” He whispers in Italian, the words and the way they roll off his tongue nearly leaves me breathless.
“And I wish I could show you how beautiful you are,” he adds in his mother tongue. His voice is smooth and deep.
I grab his dress shirt gently, pulling him a lot closer so that our bodies are touching, with my breasts nearly touching his chest.
“And how do you intend on doing that?” I ask.
“Wouldn’t you like to know?” He whispers, his fingertips gliding across my bare back and sending electricity spiraling through my entire being.
“I would really like to know.”
“How about we slip out of this party and go back to our hotel room and I show you?”
“Ah,” I smile, pulling him down as I whisper into his ear. “Aren’t you a bad man?” I ask as I pull back gently to stare into his ocean-blue eyes that do things to my insides I didn’t think was possible.
“Trust me, babe, I’m just getting started with you.”
For the millionth time since I’ve met this man, he’s rendered me speechless. Our eyes are locked, with his gaze overpowering the little control I have left.
Things this man can do to me. And he doesn’t have to touch me.
