Chapter 24 Some of Hard Breathing

Chapter 24 Some of Hard Breathing

Being astonished by the information, Sadie’s eyelids started to twitch. She looked pale to ask, “How is

she?”

Julian said, “She is not well. You love her so much?”

He talked so peacefully that Sadie did not realize he was trying to know more about her. Sadie nodded

and answered, “At that time, I was left in a garbage with a high fever in a coma. Some nice cleaner

reported it to the police, then Dean took me to the orphanage.”

Julian did not talk more, but grabbed the tissue in his hand tightly to show the joints of the hand. Who

was so mean to leave a teenage girl there?

He narrowed his eyes and threw away the tissue to ask, “Anything else?”

Sadie stopped the topic and avoided his eyes, saying, “Nothing.”

Julian smiled slightly and looked at her. He said, “So, we’ll go to visit her. And I know you had a

boyfriend when you were younger. But I won’t mind it.”

“Uh…” Sadie was surprised by how soon he changed to another topic; she was almost telling him that

it was none of his business.

With a frown, Julian watched her trying to know more about her idea. It seemed that Otto played an

important role in her life. He started to expect what would happen.

He was eyes-narrowed and got closer with Sadie to give her an unexpected kiss. He said, “I don’t mind

it. However, you should know the guy would go dead for sure if you loved him deeply.”

Although he talked about it with a smile, this was kind of a warning to her.

Sadie walked backwards by instinct to avoid more body contact with him. She said aggressively, “You

are not my boss!”

“But I am your husband.” Julian replied her with simple words and held her soft hands to stand up,

“Let’s go.”

Sadie got wet on her back of the dress and tried to follow him calmly.

Julian looked weird, up to no good tonight.

From the time he was home, he tried to ask several questions to get some information. Sadie did not

know whether Julian trusted her from her answers. It occurred to her that what he was like when he

said “I found her” on the phone.

At that moment, he was joyful, happy as well as some of excited. Nobody had seen him like this before.

When they were out of the villa, the driver was waiting them outside.

Julian was such a gentleman to open the door for Sadie to let her get in.

She still kept calm to say, “Thank you.”

She believed she should drop the act during a visit of Dean.

Health Hospital was located in the busily central area of the city, not far from the orphanage. It was

dark when they arrived. Many luxurious cars parked in front of the in-patients building and many

reporters watched the lobby with their cameras in hands.

Sadie saw it from inside of the car and asked Julian naturally, “May I get off?”

But Julian pinched the middle of his eyebrows and asked the driver to get to the other entrance, “Get

down.”

Sadie looked down and started to doubt him.

He said she was his wife, yet to allow the reporters to take photos of them. As soon as she was

thinking about it, Julian said, “Now I don’t plan to tell everyone we’re married. If you are asking for it, I

will also make it as you love to see.”

Sadie was annoyed to say, “I don’t ask for it. The paper doesn’t work at all. I just promised to play as

your wife, but I am not stupid.”

Julian smiled and leaned to keep her between the seat and his chest, “Are you sure the paper doesn’t

work at all?”

He was so close to her that she could feel his breath easily. It was tickling her as well as some feeling

of dangerous to her.

Sadie sat still and pushed him away slowly. Then she was eyes-wide to ask, “Are you giving me a

warning?”

“Am I? I don’t think so.” Julian used his fingers to press her soft lips hard, “You are not stupid. Yes, Just

a play.”

He talked about it very slowly; it might be another joke, but he still hoped to get some feedback from

her.

Sadie had an eye contact with him, not fearful. Julian was hard to be known, neither an easygoing

man. If playing a trick on him, she would be dead for sure.

With the knowledge in her mind, she started to calm down and turned back to touch her own lips. She

said with controlling her hate, “I am telling the truth.”

Raising the eyebrow, Julian sat nicely to say, “Let’s get off. We go together.”

With him in front of her, she did not notice their car had stopped already.

They entered into the lobby from a side door to see more private bodyguards here and more reporters

outside who sometimes took photos with flash. Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

Sadie and Julian lowered their heads and followed the other visitors into a lift.

“Somebody said the best actress, Sara Brooks, got a new boyfriend whose father feels not well to

come here for a check-up.”

“I heard they have been in such a relationship for three years. Her boyfriend is from a prestigious

family. And have you heard about the Newman family?”

“I know her boyfriend is two years younger than her, tall and handsome. His name is …Newman?”

“Otto Newman…”

Sadie did not expect to hear the news here. It caused her messy in the mind and an instinctive panting.

Otto was Sara’s boyfriend? Impossible!

With her long hairs covering her face perfectly, she looked down at her own tips of toe.

However, even if he was Sara’s boyfriend, she was not the one questioning more.

Those ladies in the lift kept gossiping. Sadie had to listen to it in the lift and felt some of sad.

The lift stopped on the twelfth floor. All the ladies walked out with only Sadie and Julian in the lift.

The door that was clean as a mirror closed again. Julian put his hand on Sadie’s waist and talked in a

much gentle way, “Are you angry with it?”

Sadie tried not to be emotional with looking down at the floor. She answered in an unusual voice, “I am

still having the cold. Too many people here… made me have some of hard breathing.”

Julian narrowed his eyes and picked her chin jokingly to push her to watch himself, “Really?”

Sadie lowered her head from the time walking into the lift. As soon as they heard Otto’s name, her long

hairs covering her cheek moved a little.

Actually, nobody touched her; she could make it only because she gritted her teeth.

It was obviously that Sadie did not tell the truth to him. She still kept Otto in her heart.

“Sure…” Sadie got rid of his hand unhappily. As a result, Julian held her hands against the wall and

smiled slightly to say, “I can do you a favor for your normal breath. Are you asking for it?”

Sadie was surprised to see him get closer. She had to raise her hand to stop him, asking, “Hey, what

are you doing?”
