Chapter 32: Do You Come to Have a Good Laugh at Me
After more than an hour's trial, her father was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. Her mother couldn't stand crying and fainted, which frightened Cathy and Matt. They lied her down the chair at once. When crowds were almost gone, she bowed her head to the man next to her and murmured, "Help me take care of her. I'll see him."
Looking at her, Matt was much worried about her. He held her cold little hand and said: "Be careful."
He wanted to be with her, but he had to stay there to take care of her mother.
"Uh, I know." Cathy looked at him gratefully, feeling somewhat touched.
Before her father was taken into custody, her lawyer helped her to get the chance for a meet for a few minutes in the background.
She hurried into the room. seeing the old man, she burst into tears, and could not cover her emotion any more which she had endured for a long time.
"Dad."
"Cathy." The father stood up and looked behind her, his eyes darkened. "Didn't your mother come?"
"She's come but cannot accept the result and fainted" Cathy calmed down when seeing him. She wiped her tears and went to sit beside him.
"I'm sorry... I am sorry for you..." He repeated the words and lowered his head, and looked very guilty and painful.
Cathy looked at him and suddenly felt very sad.
Whether he is right or wrong, after all, he was her father. How will he spend the next ten years in it?
After a few seconds' silence, she stopped saying any more sad topics, Instead, she touched her stomach, and smiled, "Dad, I'm pregnant, They are twins." Father was stunned at first, then his muddy eyes suddenly stared. He asked in surprise accompanied by a trembling voice, "How old are they?"
"Three months." there was a trace of softness in Cathy's eyes.
"Are they Tyrone's? Aren't you?
"We're fine." Cathy didn't want him to live a worrying life in it. "Take care of yourself I'll take them to see you later."
The father finally showed a smile and gladly stared at her stomach, with a complex eye.
They chatted some more. Then the policeman who guarded the door reminded her that it was time for her to leave.
she watched her father being taken away in the corridor, and stood there for a long time until she was stiff. Then she moved backward.
Turning ahead and she saw the figure. She didn't know when he came. But she was stiff in place again when seeing him.

At the end of the corridor, a man in black slowly approached and slowly lifted his hand to remove his sunglasses.
Looking straightly to those black eyes that looked straight at her, Cathy suddenly felt a throb in the bottom of his heart and opened her mouth indifferently. "Why did you come?"
"I come to see you." Tyrone came to her front and stopped, looking at her red eyes, he felt a little uncomfortable.
"Come to have a good laugh at me?" She laughed at herself.
The man frowned displeasantly. "Am I so unfriendly in your heart?"
Cathy knew that she must be in a mess now. She raised her hand, pulled back her hair, wiped his eyes and said, "Whatever, we are divorced now, and these things have nothing to do with you." After a pause, she softened her voice. "Thank you for coming today. My mother is still outside. I'll be excused first."
After saying that, she's leaving.
With a dark eye,the man suddenly reached out and clasped her wrist, pulled her back in front of him, and held her shoulder tightly. "Cathy, are you still cheating me? The child is mine... Right?"
