Crash-landed On An Island With Nine Beauties

Chapter 24

Chapter 24

The mystery man

“I won’t be long.” He stood over the sleeping Wolf. He couldn’t take her home. Instead he brought her to the watchtower. Of course he couldn’t climb the tree with a wolf seating across his shoulders.

It was like he had known that something like this would happen or a situation like this was bound to be. He had built a small construction off the path which led to the watchtower. That was where he kept the wolf.

He hurried out to the foot of the watchtower and looked around. He saw a bunny and shot an arrow at it. He ran to pick it up. He rushed back to where the wolf was and placed the bunny there.

“I’m not sure when I’d be back. I have a lot to do. A man has to keep working if he doesn’t want to become a history while he’s still alive.”

He couldn’t believe that the first person he’d be quoting his Grandpa’s favorite quote to was a wolf. His grandpa was a man of wit like many old men. Since the old man couldn’t feed him necessities, he would feed him knowledge.

“Wake up early girl, the bunny would be smelly in few hours.”

(Ping! Tamed a wolf and won her heart. Host has unlocked the FEARLESS WILDLIFER skill.] He walked out of the construction and flipped out the window of the system. He wanted to call out the Navigator skill but then refused to. He swiped the system in and began to run in the direction of the beach.

His stomach started to make crazy beats. Rumbling and creating such strange melodies.

“This isn’t good.”

He slowed his pace. He wouldn’t be able to run again, he could feel a rush coursing through whatever gland led to his butts.

He jumped into a corner and decided to take a shit.

IT MUST BE THE PLANT.

He was right. The side effect of the healing plant was PASSING WASTES OUT.

WHY DIDN’T THE SYSTEM TELL ME?

He would have to use his wits sometimes. Though the system was a great package for him and had really helped. He might be dead now if it wasn’t for it. Yet, he needed to cultivate his natural prowess outside the system. He was done. He looked around him and found a plant with large leaves. Large enough to make two pages of a 40 leaves notebook. He plucked it and swiped it down his butthole. “Ugh…” He didn’t dare look back at it. He resumed running towards the beach. He got there and looked insynon up ahead.

“Where’s it?”

He couldn’t find any boat. Even though he was standing on the start of the beach, looking past the sloppy shore, he could still see clearly. What was there not so see.

He decided to flip out the window system and called out the Navigator skill. While he did that, something unnecessary quickly paced his mind. He realized that what he was worried about earlier, speaking of cultivating his natural skills, wasn’t really relevant. That was what the System does; help him develop his natural skills. If the system gets broken, his innate abilities still live in him!!! This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

The skill spread out a roll of footprints ahead of him. He began to trace it down the beach towards the crashing wave. It was almost noon, the sun was getting to its prime, yet it was strangely cozy. Not the

strong breeze kind of cozy, but the cold-in-the-sinews-and-bones kind of cozy. The better-get-twelve- coats kind of cozy. “Where’s it?”

He got even more confused when he got to the end of the footprints. The prints he had just followed were those which belonged to the poachers. But here he was standing before the large body of water, the ocean.

There was no boat nor a trace of it. “Was this fool playing a trick on me?” He scoffed. He looked around him. He wasn’t sure of what to do.

“But he looked serious while saying it. What could he had gained if he joked when he was dying?”

No matter how much Damien thought about it, it felt like he was missing something. Don’t ask him, there was a lot reasons to find the boat. What was in it, what was the poacher trying to hide?

He decided to walk along the line of waves probably he would find a clue. He was tempted, he wanted to remove his clothes and jump into the water naked. After all, he was the only one there. Oops! He wasn’t sure about that. Walking down that line for a while, he suddenly noticed a mark in the shore; a mark of something being dragged towards the jungle. “The boat? Who dragged it?”

Those were the two questions he could think of as he began to follow the very conspicuous mark. He followed through the forest. The deeper he got into the forest, the alerted he was.

His revolver still had one bullet. If he hadn’t used the rifle of the poacher, he wouldn’t have anything left. Though he couldn’t bring any of the rifles with him.

Strange thing was that, he wasn’t feeling fear anymore. Before now, he would feel fear lingering in the dark corners of his mind but would deny it an audience. But now, there was nothing like fear let alone making an effort to deny it. pystymas

IT MUST BE THE NEW SKILL. FEARLESS WILDLIFER. The now fading mark brought him to the foot of a large tree. He looked around it but found nothing. Suddenly, he felt a liquid drop on his shoulder. Before he could look, he heard swift movements on the tree… next he saw someone running away.

“Hey!!!”

He called and ran after the person? He wasn’t sure who that was, he couldn’t even tell what gender or makes… whoever it was was very swift, blessed with light limbs. “Wait…” Damien called, running past the cave of the girls. He kept chasing till the runner got to the pond.

“Now you can’t run any = The runner leaped suddenly and jumped into the large pond. “What!!” Damien’s jaw dropped. He ran to the mouth of the pond. “Hey, come out… are you dumb?”

But there was neither a sound, let alone a movement.

“Did he drown?” Damien was able to figure out the gender of the naked man. It was a quick discovery before the leaping. Though he still had a lot to know. “At least he should struggle.”

Damien couldn’t jump into the pond. He couldn’t!!! Not because of fear, he just wouldn’t. Jungle Wits told him that he would be inconveniencing the school of fish if he did.

He got tired of waiting.

“If you’re a coward, at least stay out of my sight.”

He turned his back and began to walk away. He hadn’t walked for a while when he had a thud behind him. He spun around quickly, aiming his gun to prevent ugly experiences like he had with the second poacher. But there was nothing in sight. “But I heard something just now. I’m sure I heard him.” He tried to convince himself. No matter how hard he looked, there was no one in sight. He turned to his front at once.

“The girls.”

He muttered and hurried towards their cave. As he drew nearer to the cave, he heard them coming, chatting…
