CEO’s Surrender With You I Can Never Win Chapter 27
Bryan frowned slightly. “What misunderstanding?”
“Well…” Harry shifted his gaze between Bryan and Calvin and then deliberately lowered his voice, “Maybe it’s a misunderstanding about you and Mr. Thomas…”
That was all Harry had the nerve to say.
Hearing this, Bryan’s handsome face turned cold.
Sensitive, Calvin he shook his head and suggested, “I’m innocent! Bryan, I’ll clear the confusion for your wife now!”
When Calvin took one step forward to leave, Bryan said in a cold voice, “No need.”
Calvin looked back with confusion. “Why?”
Bryan pursed his lips and made no explanation. Then, he picked up his pen and continued his work.
It was a contract marriage between Bryan and Finley. Finley wanted a child in return, but Bryan wouldn’t fulfill her hope easily.
This silence of Bryan confused Calvin.
Why did Bryan do nothing when his beautiful wife mistook him for a gay? Shouldn’t he cherish such a beauty who had fair skin and a soft body?
When did Bryan become such a weirdo?
Calvin, who was enthusiastic to girls who suffered injustice, became indignant.
“Mr. Turner, it is your fault. You should take responsibility for your wife. Only a jerk will do nothing when his wife mistakes him for a gay!”
Bryan gripped the documents in his hands, and the atmosphere around him instantly became cold.
The others in the office shivered with fear.
Smart, Harry stepped forward to smooth things over. “Mr. Thomas, it is Mrs. Turner who proposed
to Mr. Turner…”
‘Calvin realized his mistake after hearing Harry out. Then, he apologized, “Sorry, Bryan. I am worried
about you. Finley is a good girl. Don’t let go of her.”
Bryan remained silent with a cold face, so Calvin came up with a bad idea.
“If a child with noble blood is what Finley wants, ” Calvin leaned close to Bryan and said defiantly, “I would love to help. The Thomas family is also the noble blood in this city. If you don’t want to help her, why don’t you divorce her as soon as possible?”
“Calvin!” Bryan said through his gritted teeth.
This anxiety from Bryan amused Calvin.
When would Bryan be true to his feelings?
Bryan loved Finley but pretended not.
He became anxious the moment Calvin teased him.
“I am not kidding.” Calvin was determined to cure Bryan of this bad habit. “I am interested in Finley. If you don’t like her, why don’t you let me…”
“Harry!” Bryan ordered with a cold face, “Kick him out!”
“Bryan! What is the rush?” Calvin didn’t give up. “You don’t care about Finley, do you? Why are you mad at me?”
Bryan looked sullen while pursing his lips. He didn’t answer this question.
Calvin felt that he had done enough. Then, he sat on a sofa and said, “Well, enough of the joke. Let’s get back to our business.”
“Cut to the chase, please.” Bryan became impatient. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
Calvin produced a pack of cigarettes. He lowered his head, lit one cigarette, and took a puff. Then, he said, “The men’s fragrance provided to Entertainment M from the Turner Group is problematic. Its exposure will bring damage to the reputation of your company and me.”
“When did this happen?” Bryan put down the documents and leaned over. “Why didn’t the staff from the public relations department alert me?”
“I discovered the problem. Fortunately, not many people found it yet.” Speaking, Calvin produced a bottle of perfume from his pocket.
“This is the classic product of the Turner Group, Misty. Harry, come over, and smell it.”
Then, Calvin sprayed the perfume in the direction of Harry.
Harry took a step forward and fanned the air in front of him with one hand. The tip of his nose
moved slightly. “No problem. It’s a faint scent of the orange flowers.”
Misty sounded like a strong scent but was a faint one. Its ingredients included orange flowers and mints, so its smell was refreshing and elegant.
“Be careful.”
Harry sniffed carefully felt the change of the perfume smell in the air.
When the fragrance of the orange flowers faded, there was a faint salty tang in the air. Frowning, Harry said to Bryan with a grim face, “Mr. Turner, there is a faint salty tang after the fragrance of the orange flowers faded. Whoever has a bad intention can make an issue of it.”
