Jaxton drove her back home whilst he tried to make small talk.

“Well I guess being a leader is hard work” Sydney responded to his question he had said.

“Yes it sure is difficult” Jaxton said as they got to her house.

He waited for the time she took her bath and then dressed and he took he back to work.

The day started almost immediately and she joint her colleagues and the work continued intensively everyone knew not to be stupid enough as to not handle the issue perfectly to catch the other perpetrators.

Mr. Louis had made it a point to continuously taunt Paxton to wanting to pull out his shares and somewhere in between he was considering that fact.

He was almost accepting for the man to pull out his investment and shares.

After mind bugling work and tracing of everything Paxton exhausted and Jaxton and his friend trying their best to handle the entire situation.

“I think I found something” Steven who had been working to trace funds found something suspicious all three ran to the place to see what it was he was saying.

“What, what did you find?” Paxton asked as he almost pushed Steven off the chair.

“There’s been a suspicious amount of money sent to a foreign unit” Steven announced and Sydney and Jaxton looked at each other and then looked at a confused Paxton who looked flabbergasted.

“Can we trace this account and get results today like now?” Sydney asked the question on everyone’s lips.

“Of course we can do that” Steven responded and wet don to work.

After about thirty minutes they fund something.

“Bingo” Steven exclaimed.

“Tell me the news and stop keeping me in suspense Steven” Jaxton spoke up to his friend.

“It’s an account of Mr. Louis and another Mr. Hardy” Steven uttered.

“What? The general manager?” she asked in shock as everyone else sure did scream.

“You’ve got to be wrong, Mr. Louis and Hardy? No doubt that bastard was bent on pulling out and making my life miserable” Paxton said in anger and punched the table.

Sydney on impulse was almost about to console him but then she remembered Jaxton was in the room so she only looked at him and made sure he was going to calm his brother down.

“Assemble everyone, let no one know what we’ve found just make them assemble and even Hardy should be present and schedule a Board meeting” Paxton assigned Sydney who ran and went to do as she was told.

She was happy they had found a lead to this crime and sure enough all the perpetrators where going to be caught.

Hardy had helped with the search of everything even going as far as promising to harm who had done hat to the company.

He even worked harder than everyone else in the employee section.

When everyone came to the office Mr. Louis came to the office making the same utterances?” Paxton asked with a smirk.

“Are you sure? Because I need to be with a company that would give me enough reason to be with them and you sure are not one company for me” Mr. Louis said.

“Of course we are not the company for you alright” Paxton said signaling for the police and when Hardy saw the other police entering and Jaxton walking directly in front of him he knew he had been caught.

“This is for the stress we’ve been through this entire week” Jaxton said and punched him and just like that it was exposed that Williams, Hardy and Mr. Louis had been planning the down fall of the White Company.

Employees and Board of directors were all shocked as they watched the two being taken out. Nobody could imagine that those they had trusted would do this to them.

“And this goes as a warning to you all, if you are tired of working for me make sure to tell me before hand, I would not appreciate this madness ever again” Paxton warned and the others where sure enough warned to know not to mess with him or the company again.

After the news hit the tabloids automatically their sales skyrocketed and new investors pulled in.

“Seems when one door closes somewhere another window is opened” Sydney commented when she saw the new contract proposals.

“Sure enough I tell you I am so happy that we have finally sorted this out and can go about our lives like this” Paxton replied.

“And thanks to Steven who helped and also Jaxton who got his friend to work with us on this case” Paxton said as he embraced his brother.

After all everyone had a calm lunch and Jaxton went to see Steven off as he had to show his courtesy for his good old friend who had helped her.

“Sydney can we meet in my office I have something for you” Paxton.

She followed him and when she got into the office he brought out a box and shoved it her way.

“What’s this for?” she asked without touching the box.

“It’s a small gift, I have appreciate your dedication and patience over the last few days when we were tracing the thieves” Paxton said in appreciation to all the late nights and files she had to follow for his sake because he wouldn’t go home.

“But I was doing what any other person could do?” she replied still not touching the gift

This was on all levels of wrong and she was just praying it didn’t lad to what she feared.

He was getting too comfortable with her and she was scared she didn’t want Jaxton badging into this or talk more of the employees who were going to come and the make sure they made everyone know that she might have something with him.
