Chapter 40

It’s still her day

Kenzo stopped the car and came out, he hurry to the other side so he could open the door but she came out before he could the door by her side.

“I was trying to be a gentleman and you ruin it.” he feigned annoyance. She chuckles.

“I’ll go back in so you can open the door.” she sat back in the car and shut. Kenzo smiled and open the door for her.

“Satisfied?”

“Yeah.” he flash her one of his cutest smile. She didn’t know kenzo could be this sweet.

“Where are we?”

“Look around..” she looked, just as she was asked to and saw a jet just by the side. Her jaw dropped. She spun her head towards Kenzo. In shocked.

“Are we going on that?”

He chuckled.

“Yes.”

“I’ve never been on air before.”

“There’s always a first time.” He took her hands. Ambling towards the jet.

“Are sambas and Aziel coming?”

“They would meet us there. C’mon.” She was gonna ride on a jet something she had never done and never thought she was gonna be on it. Her hands gripped tightly on him. He gave it a little squeeze.

“it’s gonna be okay.” He assured her.

“You shouldn’t be that scare.”

“I’m not, just this bubbling feelings inside of me.”

He stood walking and face her. Cupping her cheeks.

“Don’t think of anything else than me. Focus on me. Okay?”

She nods.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Let’s go.”

They got in the jet. She was truly flying on this thing. He chuckled seeing the look on her face and settled to fasten the seatbelts around her. She watch his movies as his hands moved around her boobs area. She gulped and tighten her feet together. Anytime he’s close to her. Her body reacts on its own. Always wanting him.

She wonder if she feels same about her.

“All set.” He announced.

“There’s a beach we’re heading to at Vietnam. We spend the night there if you want, or we can just fly back home. Anything you want.”

Anything you want, that would as well ends today, this was probably the only day she would ever get this close to Kenzo or see this side of him. Kenzo she knew wasn’t just an ordinary man. He could probably avoid after all these.

Why was she having her hopes up anyway.

“we should spend the night there, and go home tomorrow.”

He nods. Returning his gaze ahead of him.

Vietnam, here she comes.

Her dream of going Vietnam was inspired by Ray. He wanted her to come and celebrate her eighteen birthday at Vietnam. He promised to take her round the city and tells her something special, a secret he had been keeping to himself.

And here she was, eighteen, with no Ray, but with someone else she never thought she would ever met. Or get to know, neither will they ever cross path.

And they people she sought was nowhere near her.

Her life.

she wonders how Ray was, he was still his first ever friend she’s got. Even if her heart isn’t with him anymore. She still cares about him. A lot. Because he did care for her.

Once.

“Are you okay?”

“Yeah, this is great.” She smiled. He smiled back at her.

She took her gaze back at the window. They were off the ground. She had been scared for nothing. It was amazing, going by air. Or was it more amazing because she had the handsome billionaire by her side.

How lucky she was.

“You ain’t lucky, thousands of girls has been here before you. Like Barbra sister.” Her consciousnesses pricked her.

“Shut up!”

“What?”

“Nothing, just some silly thought. Do you perhaps know anyone..” she clamps her lips shut. She was gonna ruin the moment. His gaze had already turned hard before she could say anything else.

This wasn’t the right moment, she concluded.

Else they might result to a crush and probably she would die. And he would be alive. Which was very obvious.

She didn’t say anything else and he didn’t bother to ask her what she was about saying. Like he knew where she was heading to.

He couldn’t possibly read her thought could he?

“We’re here. Welcome to Vietnam.” He said. Without staring at her.

She was just so stupid, it’s all her fault, she should have let the past be in the past. Than bringing it up again at this moment. How silly?

Where is her brain at all.

They came down from the jet. They were at the beach. He took her directly there.

A wow, escape her lips. When she stare around. Her first time on a beach this beautiful. She gaze around. And sniff the air.

The perfect birthday present ever.

“You like the view?”

“Yes. Thank you. And I’m sorry for..”

He waved her off with his hands.

“It’s still your day. We should let it slide.”

She was certain, he knew what she was gonna ask. How much does he know about her. Maybe everything.

Keeping someone this close you would probably know everything about that person.

“Let’s go. You should change.”

She nods. With a smile. And suddenly she wished. Ray was here right now.

“Why is there no one here? It’s just the two of us.”

“I sent everyone out. Expect the workers. It’s better this way. We have the whole beach to ourselves.”

She didn’t bother arguing. She didn’t want what happened last to happen again. Fans could crush you without giving a damn!

“Here ma’am. You should change into this.”

Elina took the bikinis from her hands. And she left them alone. Elina throw a glance at Kenzo who stood erect just watching her. He has been doing a lot of staring today.

“I’ll wait outside. Go in and change.”

“Alright.”

She held the bikinis walking into a room and shut the door.

Kenzo walked to the door, and leaned on it. He exhaled. And rubbed his hands together.

What’s she was gonna ask?

If he knew Barbra And her sister?

Wasn’t that what she was gonna asked. It would be better if she was kept in the dark, that way, she would live longer. Barbra, the mistake he made, he shouldn’t have let her leave the mansion alive. But he wanted to fulfill the wish of her sister.

He was scared, that he would one day send Elina out. Just like he always do. She would hate him. Cuss him and swore at him. It was better than death. Hazard was still after her and Lord Gilbert.

That one day, he would get tired of her and kill her with his own hands. What was he fears the most. He was a man that doesn’t deserve her. Elina wasn’t for men like him. Who knew no love or be loved. They only sought after money, more money and power and revenge. And kills or be killed. They were bad men.

He didn’t want that to happen, that’s why he didn’t want to have anything to do with her. At the time she came. But he couldn’t avoid her. When his body wanted her so bad.

The election was just a few weeks away. Just as the wedding with Zara, he wasn’t sure Elina knew yet. That he was getting married in a few weeks time.

The only to let her stay alive is to send her away far from him or avoid her by all means. And never fall for her.

But he what if he has already fallen for her?

The nerdy Elina.
