An Ice Queen for sale (Alice)

Chapter 162

Chapter 162 The reason.

"What the hell are you two doing? Are you crazy? Both of you. Get into the house and get cleaned. I didn't want to see any of you till you haven't apologised to each other Mum had yelled angrily. I felt like we traveled back in time, and we were still kids. Alice and Sloane helped me to get up, then Alice led me into the house. We went to my old room, and she pushed me down on the sofa.

"What the fuck happened, Gideon? Why did you fight?" She asked me, obviously frustrated.

"Alice, how many times have I asked you not to swear?"

"Leave this shit Gideon, answer my question."

"It's a long story." I sighed.

"Shouldn't be that long if you could end up fighting in five minutes." She took a wet tissue and gently put it on my lower lip. It hurt a bit, so I could have a guess it was ripped. Then she wiped down my nose. Nice, I thought.

"I don't know, Alice. I think he is jealous of me."

She frowned at me, obviously wanted me to continue.

"I am the younger brother, and somehow they never expected me to do too much. But it was because he was always much more responsible than me, and not because they loved me more. Like what about Sloane? She always got the most, because she is the youngest, and she is a girl, but I can't blame her for that, actually I think it's just right."

"Gideon, I don't think Seth would be bothered about your childhood. She told me that like she thought, I was absolutely wrong.

"It's not just our childhood, it is also about our job. But like I said, he was aherys more responsible."

"Then could he be angry with you because of that?"

I looked at her, suddenly, with a frown. What?"

"He has a family, and he loves them, but it seems like he has always been the one who needed to leave them home, because he had something to do. You said that you were partying a lot and so on. So could it be he meant he feels like he has done all the jobs while you had fun, and no one said a word about it, because your parents thought it was fine like that?"

She shrugged her shoulders before she continued.

"And now you ignored him because of me, therefore your family ended up joining mine, which he didn't want at all."

I frowned again. "Is it that horrible?" She smiled.

"Not for me, but you never know how another person is thinking. Maybe that truly hurt him. Maybe if you would have included him in your plans, then he wouldn't have gotten angry with you. You told me you two used to be best friends, and since I came into your life, you only cared about me, ignoring him."

I looked a

away. There was indeed some truth in what she had just said, He always tried to take care of me, and he was my friend before Alice came into my life. I did not include him first because he wanted me to give up on Alice the most, second; he seemed like he did not care when we tried to find the reason for our father's behaviour and the third reason was because I was worried he would betray me. I sighed. Even if I got these reasons to exclude him, he was my brother. And we never had a bad relationship like recently,

I sat there in silence while Alice cleaned my wounds. When she put everything together and left into the bathroom to bin the bloody tissues, I stood up and I walked to the bathroom door,

"Maybe I should talk to him then-

Chapter 182 The reason

She looked at me, surprised.

"That is a good idea unless you will not fight again."

I smiled, and just then I felt the pain in my lower lip. I stepped into the bathroom and looked into the mirror. To see my face made me appalled, but I had to admit that it looked better than I thought. "How do I look

"Like someone just got beaten up badly."

"I love you

She smiled as I walked out of the room. She followed me. We walked to Seth's room, and I knocked. The door was opened by Leah. She had an angry face. It was unusual. I never saw her like this. She opened the door wider, and she motioned for us to come in. Seth sat there, and Ava sat on his lap, hugging him with teary eyes. When she saw me, she looked at me, surprised.

"Gideon, did you get hurt too?"

I did not know what to say, but Seth answered.

"I told you we fell together."

"Ava, come with me and Alice, let daddy and Gideon talk." Leah told the little one, who apparently did not want to leave her dad, but she obeyed her mother. She sighed, and got on her feet, then walked to Leah.

"Mummy, couldn't I stay with daddy and Gideon instead?" she looked at her mum hopefully, but Leah shook her head.

"No, we need you, darling. Nana needs us. Daddy can stay with Gideon, and when they are ready, they can find us."

She looked at Alice, who nodded, then looked at me deep in the eye. Her eyes mirrored her emotions, and I could tell she could have killed me then. They turned around and left the room.

I walked closer and stood at the window opposite Seth. He turned his head away, apparently did not want to talk. I did not know how to begin, but as the silence quickly became awkward, I found better to start. I lowered my head. "Seth, I'm sorry, I know I'm a jerk sometimes, and I know there are many things that I should do differently, but please understand me."

When I finished the sentence, I was surprised myself. Apologizing has never been my strong side. Actually, I do not think they had ever heard me to say

sorry.
