Divorcing 95
Chapter 95: Routine
The more Michael thought about it, the more agitated he became. He downed his drink in one gulp and stood up.
"Michael, where are you headed?"
"Homeward bound!"
Michael strode out of the private room alone.
Lucy's hand clenched at her side.
She rushed over after Owen called, but he left without even
saying a word to her.
"Is divorcing Chloe really hitting him that hard?"
Lucy's eyes gleamed with a dangerous glint. "Owen, I need to use the restroom."
Standing in the bathroom, she pulled out her phone and dialed a
number.
"Dig up more dirt on Chloe, the nastier, the better. Spread the word and make sure it gets to Admas!"
After hearing what she wanted, she finally hung up the phone with a satisfied smile.

Through gritted teeth, she snarled, "Chloe, you left me no choice!"
Michael had a few drinks, so he couldn't drive. He called a
driver instead.
He silently made his way back to Lotus Manor. As soon as he stepped inside, a servant informed him that Chloe had already left with her luggage. He clenched his jaw and said coldly, "Let her go."
He went upstairs to his room, but no matter what, he just couldn't fall asleep. This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
Michael rolled over, muttering a self-deprecating remark under his breath. He swung open the bedroom door and called out, "Bring me a glass of milk." Chloe used to love bringing him milk while he worked.
Over the years, he got into the habit of drinking milk.
The servant quickly brought up the milk. Michael took a sip and instantly felt his stomach case.
As he brushed his teeth in the bathroom, Chloe's words suddenly popped back into his mind.
"Turn off the water while brushing to save some H20."

Michael figured she was just used to being poor; wasting a bit of water didn't seem like a big deal to him.
He suddenly turned off the faucet, plunging the bathroom into silence.
He stared at his reflection, lost in thought.
He glanced down, resuming his brushing. Moments later, he hit the bed and crashed into sleep.
Chloe, Candy, and Quinn hung out late into the night.
The next morning, she almost overslept. Luckily, Quinn called and told her he'd bought breakfast for her. Chloe glanced at the time, then got up to answer the door.
"Morning!"
Quinn spotted Chloe and raised his breakfast-a simple sandwich and some milk. "Morning!" he called out.
Chloe swung the door open, motioning him inside.
"Heading to county court? Need a lift?"
Chloe knew this was a bad idea. She was also scared of upsetting Michael again. Last time, he tore up the divorce papers just Chapter 95: Routine
because she had lunch with Quinn.
Her rejection was no surprise to Quinn.
He didn't push it, just told her to stay safe.
Chloe had breakfast, got ready, and headed out the door. Before leaving, she shot a quick text to Michael.
Michael woke up with a groan. He remembered he had to go to county court today, and it instantly put him in a foul mood.
He grabbed his phone and saw a message from Chloe.
She wasn't here to make peace or take back her words. She was just pushing him to get out the door.
His emotions were a whirlwind. He finally realized that Chloe was truly set on divorcing him.
He had to admit, these past three years, he hadn't treated her well at all. In fact, he never even cared about her.
She was utterly disappointed and wanted a divorce. It was only natural.
Michael sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing his aching temples.
Maybe it really was time to let her go. Divorce would be best for both of them.
Sitting in the car, he called Ethan.
