After hanging up, Madelyn texted Andrew, saying she had to go to the hospital first.
He responded immediately and insisted on joining her. Although she hadn’t yet told him about being a godmother to a child, she didn’t mind if he came along
As the workday ended, Jessie called her and Emma into the office. Unlike earlier, Jessie was all smiles and clearly had some good news to share.
“I have great news for you two. We’re going to be very busy soon,” Jessie announced.
“Did we land a project?” NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
Emma raised an eyebrow.
Jessie shook her head.
“We have no projects yet, but our studio is now affiliated with Unity Studios. We won’t have to worry about. finding clients.”
“Unity Studios? The one under Naomi?”
Emma was stunned.
Unity Studios was a renowned design studio in Felasko. Although small scaled, its designers were top- notch.
Naomi, in particular, was highly sought after by major companies. Many wanted to hire her for design work, but she was extremely hard to book.
Linking their newly established studio with Unity Studios was bound to attract significant projects from domestic corporations. Moreover, veteran designers who previously ignored their studio would be drawn in by Unity Studios‘ reputation.
Their once–overlooked studio could soon be in high demand.
Jessie nodded.
“Yes, our application has been approved. We’re now Unity Studios‘ branch in Klago City. But don’t neglect our South Star designs. I believe Celestial Group will soon come knocking.”
They previously tried to curry favor with Celestial Group. But now, they were proactively preparing for Celestial Group’s needs. These were two entirely different approaches.
Emma’s eyes lit up. Earlier that afternoon, she contemplated quitting as she was unwilling to grovel for work. Now, she couldn’t bear to leave.
When Andrew picked Madelyn up, he noticed her beaming with joy.
“What’s got you so happy?” he asked.
“We’ll be busy soon and won’t have to worry about payroll. Of course I’m happy,” she replied.
“Did you secure a project?”
Andrew raised an eyebrow, skeptical. He knew how tough it was for a small studio to sign a project, especially without leveraging Miller Group’s name.
Before Madelyn could respond, Andrew teased, “You don’t think one project can support all those people, do you?”

“Who said it was just one?” she retorted.
Andrew was taken aback by her comment. He instinctively glanced at Rowan, who was driving. Rowan looked just as confused. He knew the studio had been struggling and was equally surprised to hear about a signed project.
Although Jessie was highly competent, Rowan had heard about the setbacks she had faced recently.
“So, there’s more?” Andrew asked.
“Many more are coming soon!” Madelyn declared confidently.
Andrew raised an eyebrow as she continued, “Jessie somehow connected with Unity Studios, and we’re now their Klago City branch. Don’t you think we’ll soon get a lot of business?”
“Unity Studios?” Andrew echoed.
He knew the studio well and knew that Naomi, whom they were looking to hire, was a major shareholder there. Getting her to design something was nearly impossible.
Madelyn nodded.
“Yes. Darling, do you want to give us the Glomhill project? It’s first come, first served. Soon, there will be at waiting list.”
“You’re quite audacious,” Andrew said while playfully flicking her forehead.
Caught off guard, Madelyn glared at him.
“If you won’t give it to us, why hit me?”
Andrew gently rubbed her forehead and softly consoled her when he saw her annoyed expression.
“You can give it a try, but there’s no guarantee it’ll be accepted.”
