Chapter 20: 19
Chapter 20: 19
Five days later
Jakarta, Indonesia
"What's wrong with you?" Sherly asked, staring at Farrel's face, who was showing anxiety.
Currently, they have arrived at Soekarno-Hatta airport. As a result of Farrel who suddenly asked her to
come home, Sherly was annoyed because she had not bought many things she wanted. On top of that,
Farrel seemed to have forgotten his important day, adding to his annoyance many times over. And
instead of entertaining, Farrell didn't seem to think it existed.
Sherly rolled her eyes lazily, this was the ninth time Farrel didn't answer and instead became pensive.
"If in the next two minutes you still silence me like this, I'll complain to grandfather." threatens the
woman.
And just like before, Sherly's words were just like the wind. Farrel was still unmoved as he stared at the
floor, waiting for some of his men whom he had summoned to pick them up. Couldn't take it anymore,
Sherly got up from her seat. The woman walked quickly leaving Farrel, until Sherly was not seen again,
Farrel still unmoved.
Until the sound and vibration that came from his shirt pocket, brought Farrel out of his reverie. The man
immediately picked up the phone from the Ocean.
"Where are you?" said Farrel cutting off Samudra's words.
"At the office. What's wrong?" replied the Ocean questioningly.
"All right, you stay there. I'll be there in twenty minutes."
"You're home already? Aren't you coming home the day after tomorrow?"
"No, I have to do something. You stay there, don't go anywhere."
"But-"
Ocean had not yet had time to say, Farrel had unilaterally closed his telephone. The boy immediately
got up from his seat, and walked towards the outer door of the airport. Actually, Farrel had been aware
of it. He just pretended to be pensive in front of Sherly, so that the girl went away. If not in this way,
Sherly will stick with him all day long. Making it difficult for Farrel to carry out his plan. If you don't care
about Sherly who will sulk, Farrell's business is more important.
Farrel immediately entered the taxi that was parked in front of him. If he waited for his men, it would
take a long time. Or maybe they arrived and delivered Sherly? Ah, Farell doesn't care.
"Alcander Office," said Farrel to the taxi driver who was answered thumbs up by the driver.

Dave was sitting pensive on his soft mattress. The boy stroked his cheek, which hurt, maybe his cheek
now looks even more chuby because it was swollen after being slapped by his father.
Usually, he will go with his mother to go to a restaurant. However, not this time. Charles had arrested
her earlier and threatened to torture Mother if Dave still insisted on coming. So now, he can only sit on
the bed, alone in his mother's apartment which is not too big.
"If Dad is as good as Mr ..." murmured Dave. "Surely I will be happy."
Dave chose to get off his bed. Walked out of the room and into his mother's room. I don't know what he
was looking for, he was just missing Mother. Even though they haven't seen each other in six hours.
"Huh, I'm hungry .." Dave stroked his flat stomach.
"In the drawer of your room, there are some snacks. I purposely kept them there so you wouldn't starve
when you weren't there."
Ree's words rang in Dave's head. The boy with fluffy cheeks immediately walked towards the only
small cupboard that has a drawer in his mother's room. Dave pulled the handle of the drawer, and then
some snacks appeared that seemed like they would be enough to prop his stomach.
"Make sure if you eat something, first check the expiration date."
Ree's advice came back to life, and Dave started checking the date stamp on the snack package. He
scratched his head which was not itchy, what does this mean?
"What does this mean?" Dave muttered, confused.
Dave hesitated to open the snack wrapper. However, his rumbling stomach forced him to immediately
open and move the food into his stomach.
"Hopefully this is safe." said Dave before he started eating the food.

Farrell walked quickly into Samudra's office. He even ignored the receptionist's call telling him to wait.
Farell had waited too long.
After getting on the elevator that took him to the 6th floor, where the Ocean room was, Farrel entered
the room with the words Chief Executive Office at the door.
"Sam!" call Farrell. Making Samudra in focus with his laptop tilted his head.
"Have you arrived?" Ocean raises an eyebrow.
"I want to ask you something, it's important." Farrel glared at the Ocean. "What happened before I was
in a coma, five years ago?"
"You were in an accident. How many times have I told you?"
"Yes, you only told me that much. You didn't explain why, how and where it happened. I want to know NôvelDrama.Org content.
everything."
"What happened to you?" asked Ocean diverted talks. "You look tired, rest."
"I don't need a break!" shouted Farrell.
Ocean squeezed the bridge of his nose, "Calm down Farrell, sit down. You're tired,"
"Yes, I'm tired. Knowing that I've been lied to." said Farrel sarcastically.
"What do you mean?"
Farrel gave a lopsided smile, then pulled out a large brown envelope and threw it right onto Samudra's
desk.
Ocean stared at the envelope and Farrel took turns. Then, Ocean grabbed the thing and started
opening the contents. His eyes widened when he saw the contents of the large envelope.
"You ... hired a detective?"
"Yes, and they gave me what I wanted."
"You're crazy!" growled Samudra who immediately rose while glaring at Farrel.
"You guys are crazy!" replied Farrel no less fiercely. "Covering a very important thing from me!"
"We did it all to protect you! You think we are easy to accept the doctor's request to hide your past?
You should be able to remember that yourself! With us keeping you remembering, your brain will
continue to remember old memories until it can make you die!"
"I already know everything, and I'm fine!"
Ocean shook his head in surprise, "You only know, not remember!"
"Ah, never mind! You're only making it harder for me."
"I'm just trying to help you. Understand, and be mature." said Samudra in a weak voice.
"I can't rest easy, Sam. I already know everything, and it turns out I haven't just lost my memory," Farrel
stared at the Ocean. "I also lost my wife .."
"Aretha Maharani."
"I can't rest easy, Sam. I already know everything, and it turns out I haven't just lost my memory," Farrel
stared at the Ocean. "I also lost my wife .."
"Aretha Maharani."

"You ..." Ocean hung his words. "Remember him?"
Farrel nodded, "I remember him. But his face is still not clear, I forget how he looks."
"Wait, wait," Samudra raised his hands. "You're not baiting me, are you?"
"No. I remember him, but I forgot his face, ah not forgotten, just didn't remember."
"The same."
"Do you have a photo or something of the wife, Sam?"
"You said you hired a detective, did your detective not get a photo of Retha?"
"They don't get paid for it, I just tell them to find information about it, not photos." Farrell replied.
"I don't have the photo," said Samudra which made Farrel sigh in disappointment.
"But, Valerie is there." Ocean continued, which made Farrel's smile grow perfectly.
"Then, what are we waiting for ?! Let's meet your wife!" asked Farrel excited.
"I think you'll have to wait a little longer," said Samudra, making the smile on Farrell's lips faded.
"What?"
"Valerie is on vacation, with her siblings. She also brought Bara, and I don't know where the album
containing the photos is. You have to wait until my wife returns."
Farrel's shoulders relaxed at once, but he didn't flinch. The man looked back at the Ocean, "Where is
he on vacation?"
"You're not thinking of catching up with him, are you?" asked Samudra suspiciously.
"Say, where Valerie is."
"London, you-"
"Prepare yourself, Sam. Tonight we will meet your son and wife, in London."

ee walked limp into his house. He frowned when he saw the state of the house is very dark, the woman
groped around him for the light switch.
"Dave!" shouted Ree.
Normally, Dave would never leave the house in this dark. Because, that child is afraid of the dark.
However, something was wrong at this time. If Dave was home, all the lights would be on.
Ree walked quickly up the stairs. Her feeling as a mother is never wrong, she feels that something is
wrong happening. When he reached the second floor, he again found darkness there. All the lights are
off, no exception. Even the lights in Dave's room were off. Ree jogged to his room, then felt the wall
near the door.
"Dave!" he shouted again, but still had no answer.
"Dave, where are you?" Ree pushed the light switch in his room. His gaze peeked into every corner of
the room, until his eyes caught Dave's tiny body which was lying helplessly on the floor.
"Dave!" Ree ran over to the boy who did not escape.
Ree patted Dave's fat cheek, trying to revive his little son. But in vain, Dave still doesn't wake up. Until
Ree realized something Dave was holding. A packet of chocolate, Ree took the packet and began
researching it.
As if his suffering had not ended, Ree had to accept the fact that maybe Dave was dying now.
Because, on the chocolate package, it says its validity period, which expired two years ago.

"If I am asked by the whole world, who is the craziest person, I will answer Farrel Manggala
Wdyatmaja."
Ocean looked at his cousin cynically. How come? There was an important meeting that Samudra had
to attend, but it had to be canceled because Farrel brought five bodyguards to drag him to the airport.
"I told you," turned Farrell, "that I'll have what I want."
"Yes, and you got it at the expense of other people. That's great," Ocean pouted.
"Never mind, Sam. After all, you're too busy at work. You should thank me, thanks to me, you can take
a vacation with your wife and children."
Ocean rolled his eyes lazily, "Thank you. My dear cousin."
"You're welcome," said Farrell with a broad smile on his lips.
"Oh, yes. Sam!"
"What?"
"What does it feel like to be a father?"
"W-what?" Ocean raised both eyebrows. "What's wrong with you?"
"Yes, we're on a mission to find my wife."
"Then? What's the connection?"
"Never mind, your brain doesn't seem to get there."
Farrel and Ocean just set foot in the hotel. They approached Valerie who also happened to be staying
there. All of this because Farrel couldn't wait to see his wife's face, because only on Valerie was the
key to everything.
"Call your wife quickly, Sam. Ask what room number?" Farrell insisted.
"I've been trying to call her from earlier, her number is not active!" grunted Ocean.
"Wait, Sam. Stop," Farrell paused.
"What else?" Ocean rolled his eyes lazily. "You were the one who urged me to immediately meet
Valerie, now you are telling me to stop. "
"Give me your cell phone."
"What?"
"Hurry!"
"Ish, why are you being so fierce," Samudra handed over his cellphone.
Farrell took the flat object and began working on it. It was not until a few seconds later that Farrel
suddenly hit Ocean's head. Which made Samudra protest at him.
"What the hell, you ?!" The ocean glared sharply.
"You fool! Look at this," Farrell showed me the Ocean's cell phone screen showing Valerie's row.
"What's with that ?!"
"You are calling Valerie's number in Indonesia, you idiot! Of course from earlier it was not connected!"
"Huh, really?" The ocean narrowed its eyes. "Ah, yes! That's the number in Indonesia, I forgot that
Valerie changed her number while here."
"Stupid," growled Farrel. "Quickly call your wife's new number."
The ocean pursed its lips. Then, he reclaimed the cell phone that was in Farrell's hand. A few seconds
later, Samudra pressed the flat object against his ear.
"Hi, dear," said Samudra. "Where are you?"
Ocean's forehead frowned, "What? Embers hurt?"
"Send us the address of the hospital where Bara is being treated, I'll be there now."
Samudra hung up on him, then turned to Farrell, who was staring at him questioningly.
"What happened?" Tanua Farrel was worried.
"My son, he's in the hospital. We have to go there, now."
