Rosetta head downstairs with skyler, he was still giving her silent treatment.

Last night she didn’t talk to him much either. When he asked about her and his father’s conversation she lied. She said it was nothing and he was just asking her about his wellbeing.

He was all dressed up in formal attire, ready to leave for the office.

They went to the dining hall where everyone was already waiting for them. They both greeted everyone.

“I am sorry I couldn’t welcome you yesterday…”

Sarah apologized to Rosetta.

“It’s fine mom…”

Rosetta said politely.

“Skyler how is going everything in business?”

Xavier asked.

“Fine… We are going to sign new project today…”

Skyler answered casually while taking bite of his food.

“Take Rosetta with you…”

Xavier said and everyone looked at him.

“She has experience, she can help you. Plus it will be better as soon as she gets comfortable with your business.”

Skyler looked at Rosetta waiting for her answer. She looked at him nervously.

“I have to look after academy. I don’t think I’ll be able to focus with skyler. I think it doesn’t matter if I am there or not, he can handle everything…”

Skyler rolled his eyes and started eating his breakfast, he kind of expected this answer.

“Let her do her work Xavier… She is not interested in business…”

Sarah favoured Rosetta.

“Fine”

Xavier replied.

“I am leaving…”

Skyler stood up and kissed his mother’s cheek. He was about to leave but Xavier glared at him. Skyler cleared his throat and looked at Rosetta faking his smile.

He leaned down and kissed her cheek.

“See you baby”

Rosetta gave him fake smile but then she realised that she have to fake it too. Somehow Vlad is getting all the information about her. She couldn’t understand how. Has he installed hidden cameras or he has hired spies.

Rosetta was sure that he has hired spies but don’t know who are they. She wants to make him believe that she is in love with skyler. Even If he doesn’t lose interest then at least it will get angry, jealous and it will cause him distress.

“Skyler!”

She grabbed his hand when he was about to leave. He stopped and looked at her confused. She stood up looking at him.

“When will you come back?”

She asked, trying to mimick her parents conversation thinking at least it will give feeling of love.

“Evening… Why?”

He replied raising his eyebrows in amusement.

“Okay, I’ll be waiting…”

She smiled and pecked his lips. It was kind of awkward for her but she had to do it.

Skyler frowned at her behavior, it was sudden and big change. He would have asked her but everyone was looking at them.

“Aren’t you getting late?”

She asked and he nodded giving her suspicious look. He walked out with confused thoughts.

“Oh my god! You guys look too cute… Touchwood…”

Sarah exclaimed.

Rosetta gave her awkward smile and left for her work.

“What are you doing?”

Rosetta questioned as she saw Jackson at the door with worried expressions.

“Vlad is planning to attack Skyler…”

He declared.

“When? Where?”

She quickly stood up from her chair.

“May be on the way… May be in office… Meeting room, anywhere!”

He replied.

“I can’t let him hurt skyler because of me… I am leaving…”

She said while grabbing her gun and other weapons.

She took her car and drove towards skyler’s office. She stopped the car in front of his office building and told watchman to park it.

She was about to run inside but she saw another building which was in front of his office building. It seemed to be vacant.

“Is this office building too?”

She asked one of the guard.

“Yes ma’am but it’s closed due to renovation work.”

He answered.

Rosetta looked at it suspiciously as she saw silhouette of two men. She carefully walked inside and it was silent and empty, no one was there. She started looking around to make sure.

She went to the third floor and her doubt was right. Two men were hiding there with guns. Ready to shoot. She suspected that there might be sharpshooters hiding here.

One of the man saw her and she got alert.

“What the fuck?… Kill her”

Rosetta kicked his gun away as he pointed it towards her, she managed to unarm other man too.

She was fighting with one while other managed to escape. She snapped his neck and ran behind other.

They were facing back side of the building where no on was present. It was construction site.

He attacked her but she fought back. She couldn’t realise that she was on the edge.

Rosetta kicked the man away and shot him but her leg slipped and she lost her balance.

She gasped as she couldn’t take hold of anything and feel herself falling down.

It was tall building and no one can survive after falling from there. There was nothing to try and no one could save her.

Rosetta closed her eyes and waited to hit the ground. She was going to die and she accepted her fate. Her mother told her that whenever you face the death, face it like a worrior not like coward.

Rosetta gasped when something stopped her from falling, she could feel herself hanging in the air.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw raven black orbs. That person was staring down at her. It was man with black mask. She couldn’t see his face, only eyes were visible.

She frowned at him, he was holding her with one hand while holding harness with another. She looked down and saw that she almost died.

That man landed on the ground and placed her down. She looked at him up and down. He was wearing black tight clothes just like her mother used to wear when she was on mission. He was tall and muscular.

He looked like assassin.

She could see amusement in his eyes. It was like he is mocking her.

“Who are you?”

She asked.
