Lost and Found: Return of My Mysterious Fiancee

Chapter 719: It's Tina Again

They revisited Natalie's case thoroughly, but the leads were scarce. All they knew was that she was a former captain at the X Bureau and later started a romance with Jasper Reed. As for why she fled, it was now because Garrett had taken over the Reed family, and despite his many attempts, he couldn't extract any information from the Reed family members.

Ruud, after all, was General Praevion and couldn't resort to extreme measures to force information out of anyone. Thus, that was all he could find out.

Ruud narrowed his eyes, "Tina is Natalie's daughter?"

He genuinely didn't know.

He only knew that Natalie was a valued subordinate of his father, highly capable at the X Bureau, but he had never met her.

He did know a bit about Natalie and Jasper Reed and had even suspected Natalie was Tracey, even confronting Jasper Reed. However, the old man was tight-lipped and revealed nothing.

Now, he no longer suspected Natalie was Tracey.

Tracey was a wise and intelligent woman; even if she had a daughter, she wouldn't raise her to be someone as arrogant and domineering as Tina. "Knock, knock!"

The rhythmic knocking suddenly interrupted.

Ruud frowned slightly, raising his hand slightly, and the others in the room stood up relieved.

He commanded coldly, "Keep searching! Even if you have to dig three feet into the ground, find her. I want her alive or a body if dead!"

He couldn't believe such a person could just vanish into thin air.

When Ella Bailey entered, only General Praevion was left in the room.

She left Woods guarding the door and stepped inside, stopping ten meters away from Ruud, "General Praevion, I've lost Elsa!"

Ruud looked up slowly, "What happened?"

His gaze, empty yet heavy, fell on Ella Bailey.

She stiffened, not daring to meet Ruud's eyes, "It's all because of that Tina. She seems to be close to Elsa. Backed by Jared, who knows where she has hidden Elsa. My people are searching at full strength, but there's no trace!" "It's Tina again."

Hearing this name again, Ruud's brow slightly furrowed.

Ella Bailey paused slightly, "General Praevion, do you know her?"

Ruud scoffed, "Just a cowardly youngster. Continue your search, try not to alert Jared and the others, your mother's illness can't wait much longer."

Hartwood.

An ancient and elegant garden.

Dorothy Russell lay in a white strapless dress on the ornately carved master bed.

It seemed she had been asleep for a long time; she slowly opened her eyes and rubbed her throbbing forehead, then turned to look out the window at the vibrant life outside, "I never thought you had such taste." Her slender, fair legs teasingly climbed onto the man sitting by the bed.

Her toes caressed up his pants to rest on his tense thigh, "Is this another home of yours?"

The man's face, statue-like, moved slightly, "No."

Even seduced in such a manner by Dorothy Russell, his deep, emotionless eyes revealed nothing, "You just woke up, do not do these futile things."

"Don't be so heartless."

Dorothy Russell bent her legs and knelt on the bed.

Her movements made her bust bounce, drawing the eye, "I've slept for so long, and you don't miss me at all? Miss today, and once I'm in the lab, there will never be another chance like this."

The man's Adam's apple bobbed as he lowered his gaze to meet Dorothy Russell's enticing eyes. His hand, as if bewitched, climbed onto Dorothy's smooth shoulder. As they drew closer, their lips almost touching, a woman's voice from outside interrupted, "If you want to get busy, you'll have to wait a bit."

It was a tactful tone, yet it sounded chillingly cold to others, "Come out, I need to talk to you."

The Lyon family.

Stephanie had been unusually well-behaved lately.

Usually, she was inseparable from Marie, following her around like a shadow. She and her brother Eric were like two quails in the Farrell family.

Whenever Marie looked even slightly displeased, the siblings would become anxious.

When Tina arrived, Stephanie's face turned pale.

"What are you doing here?!"

she exclaimed.

Her finger trembled as she pointed at Tina, her eyes darting from her to Jared, then to the person Hayden was carrying.

Hayden rolled his eyes.

"Do I need to report to you when I bring Serena back? She's the future lady of this house, what's it to you?!"

"Move aside and let us in. This brat is dead weight!"

Artificial humans were designed to weigh as much as real people, and Hayden, having carried the load all the way, was overheated and spoke irritably.

A shadow passed quickly over Stephanie's face as she met Tina's mockingly amused gaze, her heart skipped a beat.

"I didn't mean that. Come in, please. They were just talking about you yesterday."

As if she were the lady of the house.

Stephanie appeared cautious, yet her actions betrayed a sense of superiority.

Tina raised an eyebrow, indifferent to her behavior.

Hayden, unable to stand Stephanie's pretentiousness, stepped in first, carrying the person.

She walked past Stephanie and strode to the sofa.

"You needn't bother yourself. To the unknowing, you might seem like an extra servant in the Farrell family. Right, Mr. Farrell?"

Jared didn't respond, or rather, didn't have the chance to.

The body Hayden had carried lay flat on the sofa, looking exactly like Eric, if one could ignore the large hole in the head.

Even Stephanie, Eric's sister, jumped up like a startled cat at her first sight of "him."All content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"Eric, what's happened to you?!"

She lunged forward, her fierce gaze fixed on Tina.

"Tina! You bastard, if you have a problem, take it up with me. My brother has done nothing to you, why would you hurt him? I'm going to tell Aunt Marie, you're a venomous woman who doesn't deserve to step foot in the Farrell family!" Hayden kicked out, "Shut up! Open your damn eyes, is this Eric?!"

Stephanie clung to "Eric," screaming at the top of her lungs.

Her loud voice alerted Marie upstairs, who came down wrapped in a shawl.

Upon seeing Tina downstairs, Marie's eyes lit up.

Before she could approach, a figure rushed up to her like a firecracker, "Aunt Marie, you have to stand up for me! I know I've done wrong before. Tina doesn't like me, but no matter what, she shouldn't have taken it out on Eric." Tina was exasperated: How blind can your cousin be not to see such a big hole?

Jared's expressionless face softened slightly: Her mind was never quite right.
